lovemy3 - sorry we crossed paths. CD33 and still no AF - that's a good sign isn't it? I'm sure I remember you saying that your previous BFPs were a bit elusive at the beginning so don't give up hope yet. Fingers, toes and every hair on my whole body crossed for you!! Baby Dust too! XOXOXOX

Val - February 25

hi all...wow, it's been busy here since I last checked in. COL, sorry about the spotting - I know it must be very scary. It is a good sign that your hcg numbers are going up. I'm glad your dh is on his way home. I'm sending you hugs and good thoughts... PUNKIN, your pains sound similar to mine... When I go from sitting to standing it's not bad, but when I walk it hurts, especially at night, and especially if I've been sleeping on my right side (where the pain started). You should check in with your doctor about it. Mine thinks it's just ligament pain (I think I overdid it in h2o aerobics a few weeks back). It is getting better, but she referred me to a physical therapist who specializes in working with pg women... I guess she will further diagnose the problem and be able to give me some stretching exercises and movement tips. TRACY, those pics are amazing! And I love the house. HOPEFUL, I guess my due date would be around May 10th if it was about 2.5 weeks soon (that's actually my friend's due date, and Tracy's as well, I think??) I know my conception date was solid, so they aren't changing my due date, but it doesn have me wondering if it will be early. I'm trying to ramp up preparations... Been thinking I have 3 months still, but what if it's only 2? Aack! Gotta run... have like 15 people outside planting trees and I have to prep food for when they all get done. COL, you are in my thoughts...

COL, Like the other ladies I believe you are having implantation bleeding. My first and second pregnancies were the same way and resulted in two healthy boys. Yes, it is very scary but I know this will pa__s and your baby will be growing happy and healthy inside of you! Researching is so easy to do online; it can make you feel crazy in no time at all. I'm sure we are all guilty of it. Like you if any issues arises the urge to research online kicks into high gear. I would love to be able to tell you not to research but I would do the exact same thing in your place! From everything you have told us there are a lot of positive signs for you. Well I found out some interesting information (maybe some of you already know) about antacids, did you know they cause constipation? How cruel is that!! You have to choose between heartburn or constipation.. decisions, decisions!! If anyone has a secret cure for either symptom please do tell. My DH will be forever thankful.. he loves me dearly however TMI for him these days.. Now why doesn't he see me as s_xy these days...lol Babymakes5 my next doctor's appointment is on Tuesday, he has an intern working with him at the moment. nothing like having your cervix checked by a rookie!!! He looks about 20, I have three men in the room at once, my DH the doctor and the intern. Is it a bad sign that this no longer fazes me? The best is that the intern usually tells the doctor "he thinks" I am about 2 or 3 cm dilated.. which you guessed it.. that means the doctor has to check me too! The incisions site has been really painful all weekend. Your epidural site is still sore after all this time.. I feel lucky that I having experienced any issues at all. Hopefully you will have no problems this year! Lets face it, so much has changed over the years. With my first son (14 years ago) there were bumper pads in the crib with blankets and his head was elevated in his crib. With my second no bumper pads, blankets and he is flat on his back. Although both slept with me, just naps in the crib. With this next little boy the rules shouldn't have changed too much since they will be only a little over a year apart! Babymakes5 get lots of TLC and take good care of yourself! TTC#335 my other boys were born at 32 and 34 weeks, both were induced. Lots of baby dust to you and Lovemy3 Val is your ligament pain feeling any better? The aches and pains of pregnancy..gotta love them. Making lunch for all those people will be tiring.. I see a nice relaxing bath in your future. Hopeful and Excited.. I'm so looking forward to hearing all about your shower.. so many people.. all that love in one room will be amazing! Tracy your pictures are wonderful I wish I could share my little boy’s pics too! Now all you have to do is count down until the moment you can hold that precious baby in your arms. The house looks great too! Any news on is the other house is sold? Great news about your cervix too! The bed rest is paying off! Punkin01 has the pain settled down for you? Walking it out seems to be the only way to reduce some of the pain during pregnancy. This abdominal pain is getting rough again, better lay down for a bit! Hope I didn't miss anyone.. Take care!

Good morning all. Hope you are all well. CD34 for me, still no af, but yesterday and the day before showed a BFN. haven't been 34 days before, so not too sure what to think really. Feel like af is going to arrive, just not sure when. I am going to retest on cd36. that is when I have gotten my BFPs in the past. Keep me in your prayers. hugs

Wow, busy thread over the weekend. I was cooped up in a snowstorm, I think we ended up with about 12 to 14 inches of snow all together. Poor dh, he spent a lot of time this weekend shoveling. COL-my thoughts are with you, as are my prayers. I'm sure it is just implantation bleeding, but try to relax and take it easy just in case. Will they do an u/s as soon as you are far enough along to give you peace of mind? Try to insist if possible. I hope you're feeling better today. Great idea about going back to previous threads and saving them, it's been on my mind, now I just need to find the time. Loved-good luck on your appt. on Tuesday, and I feel the same way about it not phasing me to be poked and prodded so much-after awhile I think we end up just feeling like a body and not a person. Hopeful-a very nice, thoughtful gift for your shower organizer. It must be exciting to know it's almost here. Be sure to take lots of pictures for the baby book. Punkin-hope your pain is better. I'm not sure if mine is the same thing, as mine seems to get worse when I walk and sitting seems to make it better, as long as I sit in a proper posture chair. The physical therapist told me that when we're pregnant and sitting in a chair that has bad posture it can put more pressure on the pelvic bone. He said to be sure that your knees are level with your hips and not any lower. Good luck, I hope it feels better. Tracy-hope all is well, looking forward to looking at your pictures when I have more time. LM3-fingers crossed!!! Val, hope you got everyone fed okay, sounds like a lot of work-I'm lucky if I can manage enough energy to feed my household. I'm thinking about cutting my day short here at work, for some reason I'm feeling very dizzy and lightheaded. I'm not sure if it's my blood pressure being low or just having this cold? But it's kind of scary, feeling like I might pa__s out. Just need to muster up the courage to tell my boss-isn't that terrible! Hope all is well for anyone I may have missed. Col, hang in there and my thoughts are with you! Hugs to everyone.

COL - February 26

Hello friends, sorry I could not write before, but never too late. Again I cant thank you enough for all of you heart warming words. LM3, I am glad you are doing well, I am praying af will stay away this month, and I will have somebody who can continue the course with me, I will keep you in my prayers for sure, and please keep posting, I really miss you when you hide : ) . Hopeful, thanks for the advice and the words of comfort, this is the first time I hear about the colostrums, thanks for the info : ). Hey Val, I am sorry that you are having this kind of pain, but its worth it after all, when are you going to post pictures of your baby’s room, I am looking forward to see it. LB, thank you so much I am over whelmed with your kindness, I think I have a recipe for the heartburn, when ever I get it , I just chew some row lentils, yes lentils, but the crushed ones, soak it in water for about 2 min, and eat it, you will see the difference. And I remember my mom used to use cuc_mbers for the same thing. As for the constipation, try the flax seeds, grind them and mix them with your salad or yogurt. In my case my magic cure is Grapes, I eat grapes and TEEEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEEEE. : ) : ) TRY THEM AND LET ME KNOW. babymakes5, thank you so much for your words, I am sorry you are not feeling well, I cant imagine that you cant have the flexibility to go home if you are tired, that’s too bad. And you think after the good review they gave you, they would give you some break, I am sure it’s hard for you, hang in there. When is your due date again? How long is your maternity leave? I am sure you are looking forward. Tracy , we did not hear from you today, don’t tell you bought the house and you are moving already : ) . my updates, the spotting stopped today after taking the progesterone yesterday and today, I worked only have day, and came back to my bed. I will be working from home for the whole week, I told my boss, and he was so nice and understanding, he wanted me to go home immediately after I told him, but I had some work to finish. Thanks god for having the choice to work from home. My u/s is March 6, this the earliest I could get. Oh my goodness, I think I went back to my old me, talk talk talk. ia m going to stop now, good night and ttyl. LOVE YOU ALL

Sorry I have been MIA today. I had that d__n 3 hour glucose test this morning and my head has been killing me!!!! I'm not big on sugary c___p, so to have to fast and do that sucked. I don't understand how it benefits a pregnant woman to have to skip breakfast, etc... I did not eat until noon and by then the headache was coming on strong. I'm sorry I'm just a little p__sed about the whole thing. I'm just not feeling well at all. I threw up three times within an hour, it stopped about 30 minutes ago. COL, I am so glad that your spotting stopped. That is really good to hear. I'm sorry that you have to wait until March 6th to have the U/S, but it's not too much farther away. I am so tired today. I am going to try to lay down again. Sugar and me just don't mix.

punkin01 - February 27

hey all glad to hear everyone is doing OK.....tracy sorry to hear your not feeling well from the tests...and i have to agree with you that making pregnant women go through them is beyond me .....dont get me wrong i understand the purpose because i had GD in the pregnancy with my DD but making you fast and sit half a day in the Dr office making you drink that nasty sugary c___p and stick you everytime the wind b__ws.....come on lets come up with something better and most women do throw up or feel like they could from the whole process..........anyway that was my vent for the day.....bm5 dont make it sound so bad about being "cooped up in a snow storm" we know you had fun!!!!!! Hello all - must be quick coz today is our 15th anniversary and we're going out to the city for a change. May do some shopping, go to the cinema (to catch up on all the Oscar gossip!!) and for a meal before coming home and collapsing into bed. (Tomorrow is another busy one with doctor's appointment and antenatal cla__s and then my mum arrives on Thursday for a week so it's all go at the moment!!!) ******** Col - you sound fantastic again which is great news. I'm so glad the spotting has stopped - the progesterone and bedrest obviously works so keep it up. Don't work too hard even though you're at home! Val - you sound great too! Busy busy busy - I'm with BM5 ............where do you get the energy to feed all those people! Goodness I can barely get my own dinner together sometimes! March 6th - not far away now! Lovedblessings - hope your pains have subsided and you've got over the shock of having three men look up your hooha at the same time! What a great way to dampen your libido! (or not? LOL!!) . Had a look at that website. Very useful - thanks for that. Tracy - sorry the 3hour test was so horrid for you. Hope you're feeling better now. When do you get the results? I got the preliminary ones straight away and the rest a few days later. I'm thinking I might ask if they need to do it again though as they did it a bit early for me (23 weeks or so) and I understand they don't normally test until around 28 weeks as that's when the problem is usually more obvious. We'll see - I have to go and have my thyroid checked again anyway soon so I'll roll the whole lot in together. BM5 - hope you got the time off yesterday. Don't feel bad about leaving early - your health (and your baby's) are much more important!! lovemy3 - any news. Permanent "tattoo-like" baby dust coming your way!! ********** Had a dream about my baby shower last night. Everyone turned up in the wrong place and when I went to find them they'd already gone "en ma__se" to the RIGHT venue. Then when I turned up there myself it was packed with people and the Bean was there too (it had an ENORMOUS head which is a bit of a worry!!) It was great to have all those people there though and it looked like they all had a good time. The real thing is just around the corner and I think this dream shows I'm feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing. Also the big head thing makes me think that I'm getting tense about childbirth. It's possibly because I finished reading my books yesterday and am anxious that I still haven't got all the info I need. Oh well - I'll just keep reading and re-reading my "notes" and doing my exercises and I'm sure everything will be fine. It's all getting close now!! However, more to the point, today is a fabulous day for a celebration so I'm going to do just that!!

Hopeful and excited - February 27

Sorry - I meant March 6th wasn't far away for Col. Big Hugs to everyone XOXOXOXOX
