Congratulations Val!! Fantastic news! I'm so pleased for you. Dalton is exactly the same size as my DD was when she was born. She's now (1 month later) over 11 pounds and has gained an inch and a half on her head circ_mference and half an inch in length. Incredible!! Remember to take it easy over the next few weeks and allow your body to recover. Don't try and do too much too soon and let other people do the work - you need to concentrate on the b___stfeeding. ********* Hello everyone else. Goodness, I just don't seem to have time to post anymore. My mum left on Wednesday and so now have a little more time to myself but I try to get things done around the house then. Also I've found that my DD sleeps better when we're out during the day so I've been trying to do something that involves a walk into town whenever I can. That's the reason for not being able to write more. Glad everyone is doing well though. BM5 - it looks like you might be the next on the list. (Punkin's already had her baby I think, so I can't wait to hear from her!) Much much luck to you. Me? Well - I've still got the horrid rash which seems to move around my body! Horrible! It's not really getting any worse but it's really uncomfortable - especially in this hot weather. Dr. says it's not an allergy but hormone related eczema so I'm medicating it with a cream. Hope it works - it's driving me nutty!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get the all clear from the Ob/Gyn to say I can get back into the swimming pool - not only will it cool the rash but I can start getting fit again. Hooray! ********* Well, ladies - I started this post with 2 hands but DD woke up and I'm down to 1 - hard work!! so I think I'll finish now. Big Hugs to all! Lots of love XOXOXOX

Good Morning Ladies, Babymakes 5 yes I am still BF and loving it! Although when Jackson is going through a growth spurt my nipples do get sore! Some nights he just camps out at my b___sts! Let's hope the five pounds weren't all baby..lol OUCH!!! When your pregnant there usually is only one weigh the scale is going to go. Even after the birth I find I gain weight due to eating out of being over tired. At this point I am looking forward to getting back in shape. Hopefully I will be able to start running soon, I have been walking with the kids every night which feels great! When is your next doctor's appointment? Are you going once a week now? Val, your son was big, thank goodness it was a c-section. What a great name! Who does your little boy look like? My son seems to have both of our traits in him. He looks a lot like my other two boys. How is BF going? It's great you have help for the first little while, that will give you a chance to recover. Hopeful... sorry you still have that rash, could you soak in some epson salts? It may take some of the itching away. Your dd sounds like she is growing like a weed. Do you find yourself looking at all the pretty dresses while your in town. Like yourself I take my kids out as they love the stroller. Every night we go to the park just before their bath and bed time. I love being outdoors now that the weather is so much warmer. Lovemy3 are how are you doing? Punkin... hope to hear from you soon! Have a great day!

I have some getting in shape to do too since having this baby. Fell the other day and hurt my good knee though, so have to wait for that to heal now! Val, I also love the name Dalton.....you better hope my next one isn't a boy so I don't steal that name!!! Just kidding. Talk to you guys more hopefully in the next few days.

Hello ladies, I am glad everyone is ok and doing well, Val, CONGRATULATIONS , Dalton is a very nice name I really love it, I am glad that you have your baby in your arms already, way to go. Congratulations again to you and your husband. I can’t wait to hear the details; I really wish you the best. Hopeful, sorry about the rash, hope it will ease soon, I am glad Marjana is doing well, how is the cloth diapers going, we are thinking seriously to take this route too. Tracy, how is your knee, hope it will heal soon, how is Savannah doing? I am sure she is gorgeous. LB, I love reading your updates and your relation with your kids, you are such a nice and devoted mom. BM5, I am watching for you, hope you will have your baby soon, and join the rest, good luck. Punkin,, waiting for your news, wish you post very soon. LM3, how is going there, what Cd are you in? good luck this month. My updates, today I went for my 18 weeks ultrasound, I got to see the baby, its so amazing seeing it again. It did not stop moving all the times. I feel the movement all day. We decided not to know the gender, we wanted it to be a surprise, since it does not really matter if it’s a boy or a girl, as long the baby is healthy. I was sick for the last 2 weeks, very bad flu, and I was at the edge of Namonia (sp) but things are good now, and I am fine. We moved to the new house and we so in love with it, although we need lots of furniture, but we are not planning on buying any now. This is my updates, love you all. TTYL and sorry if I forgot anybody.

Hi everyone, I'm still here and at work of all places. I was so restless this weekend though that I almost think it's better to be here than at home chomping at the bit and now that I have my replacement doing most of the work, I'm pretty much just here for questions and doing some catch up work so it's not too stressful at all. I'm so anxious to hear from Punkin! I was 37 wks yesterday and apparently the last one on the thread. These bh's are so strong sometimes I have to do relaxation and breathing techniques, so I'm hoping it's soon. I'll be bummed if I have another 3 wks to go. I finally packed my bag for the hospital. Sunday night I thought for sure I was in labor, I woke up at 1 am and the contractions were so strong and were coming from the back so I thought they were real. I finally woke up dh around 2:45a and ran a bath to relax. I took some lorazepam after that to relax and see if I could sleep through them a little and they stopped early morning. I was expecting them to start up again Monday but no such luck. I didn't have a bag packed yet though so I was kind of panicky thinking I'd have to just throw a bunch of stuff together. I feel much better being a little prepared. I hope everyone is enjoying their little ones! LB, I love this weather too and can't wait to go for walks with the stroller. Right now I can hardly walk so all I can do is stand or sit outside and enjoy it. My back is constantly hurting and just doing simple tasks brings tears to my eyes. A familiar feeling to all of you I'm sure! I feel like a whiner but I guess my time has come for that-lol. Still having s_x but last week went 2 or 3 days in a row without it. I just can't imagine that dh is even still interested! I feel like a beach whale! Hopeful-I sure hope that rash goes away-it sounds miserable! Glad that dd is doing so well and growing like a weed! Can't wait to be on the same page as the rest of you! I guess it's back to work-my next appt isn't until next Mon. I'm going every week, but they couldn't get me in this week, so now I have to wait until Mon. I'll keep you all posted! Hugs to all!

hi all... wow, it's been almost a week since I last posted - I just have not had any computer time despite the fact that dh's mom is still here (I think she's staying another 9 days or so - yay!!!) We're doing pretty well, just all-consumed (no pun intended) with b___stfeeding. Dalton lost over 10% of his birth weight so his doc had us continue with the nipple shield (I had started with it due to latching issues) and do supplemental feedings with a tube (kind of cool because dh gets to feed the wee one). I was bummed because I'd gotten him off the nipple shield and then had to start using it again. He finally started gaining weight as of our checkup yesterday so I have the okay to wean off the shield again, but it seems harder this time. And my right nipple is really sore from using the darn shield. Anyway, hopefully he'll continue to gain weight - we go back on Monday for his 2-week check-up. I'm doing ok (apart from the feeding issues) except my incision is still draining. My dr poked and prodded and drained it some yesterday (fun - let me tell you...) but it still is "weeping" a bit. I'm supposed to call first thing Monday if it's still going. Trying to take it easy and hoping it will stop! I read all your posts and am sending good thoughts and hugs to all... sorry no time to respond individually... :-) xoxoxoxo

Must go before she turns purple and threatens to explode. Love to all and Good luck to BM5. Where's Punkin? Dying to hear your news!!!!! TTYL XOXOXOX

hey guys......sorry to have been MIA for so long but i was out of work and that is where i post most of the time but since i was home i spent my time relaxing and getting things ready for the LO to arrive and then poof it was time to have him and i still hadn't checked in with you guys and i am so sorry..........but i have my news Joshua is here and we are sooooo happy he was born may 30 by c section at 10:43am he was 7 lbs and 13 oz 19 1/2 in long and he has a head full of black hair (just like daddy) so heart burn paid off!!!!!!he is beatiful and we love him so much.......we just came home yesterday and i feel pretty good ....this C wasnt as bad as the one with my DD and i have had minimal pain.......he is such a good baby he slept 5 1/2 hrs last night and scared me and his daddy to death but he was OK and ate like a pig this am.........i tried to BF so hard the day he was born and he tried but just couldnt seem to latch on good so finally that night i called and asked for a bottle he had been crying for over 30 min trying to latch and i had had it and so had he .....they tried to talk me out of a bottle and i said no my baby was hungry and needs to be fed and they finally brought me one and he ate 1 oz and slept for 2 1/2 hrs so good so i decided with my lactation person to try at home in privacy and relaxed enviroment .......because wed and thur we had visitors ALL day and it was hard to try .........so like i said we came home yesterday and i just didnt try at all and this am i woke up and my milk had come in and i was in PAIN but i fed a bottle first and i decided at next feeding i would try and it took about 5 mins but he latched on and must have done some good because my b___st wasnt sore at all after that........but he didnt want the other one so next feeding i used the other and dont think it had much to begin with he still acted hungry so i fed part brest and bottle too (the left one was leaking this am and i couldnt get anything but 1 drop on the right one) so we are doing well with it for right now and i am so excited about that......i cried to hubby lst night that i felt useless because i couldnt feed him and boom this am i could ............hope everyone is doing good and sorry i was missing for so long .......BM5 your next dear!!!!! good luck when the time is right....... hope everyone else and there LO's are doing great...........check in later

Punkin Congratulation!!! You must be so relieved to be home safe and sound with your little boy. How is everyone adjusting to the new little one in the house? Sorry you had such a rough start to b___st feeding.. at least all is well now. Tracy how is your knee feeling? Hopefully we will all be getting in shape soon. My body feels like a train wreck at the moment. I did go for my first run the other day, OUCH, OUCH, OUCH!!! My legs were so sore the next day COL, wow, 18 weeks already... That is great! it's so beautiful watching your little baby dance on the screen. How is unpacking going? It's one of the toughest jobs when your moving. You must be so excited with a new house that you can build memories in with a bundle of joy on the way. I'm always impressed wtih people that can wait to find out the s_x of their child. I'm worse than a little kid at Christmas, I just have to know : ) Babymakes5 YOu made it, June is finally here. Can't wait to hear your birth story! Take it easy and get plenty of rest. If you body is aching and sore try a nice relaxing bubble bath. Pamper yourself for the next couple of weeks Lovemy3 20 pounds it EXCELLENT!!! I hope you spoiled yourself with a new outfit, you must look great! Lots of baby dust to you! Sann, How is your daughter's skin? Hope she feels better and that she is breathing easier through her nose. Val Keep an eye on the drainage since it can get infected easily. It's tough when your nipples are sore, I know I tend to nurse off the one side and pump the sore b___st until it heals, so far that works well! How is your son doing with his weight gain? Have you gone for his two week check up. Wouldn't it be great if they had a heart meter for the parents? With each week of their life I swear my heart gets bigger and bigger. How are you adjusting to life at home, do you have some help? Hopeful and Excited, how is your daughter? Are you managing well with the cloth diapers? Do you have a great system in place so you never run short? I think of you when I am changing my two lt_tle guys, that must be tough work! My son has another ultrasound in July to check the amount of fluid in his kidneys, the next step is surgery so hopfully the fluid has drainned on its own. My incision finally closed last week. My DS is smiling often and making all the late nights much easier to take. Have a great day!

Hi everyone. Great news to log on to this morning! Punkin-huge congratulations to you!!! I hope the bf works itself out for you-sounds like it's going to. Val I'm glad things are going well for you to. Nice of dh's mom to stay so long-that's so helpful! Hopeful-you sound very busy, I hope your rash has gone away and that you are getting at least some time to yourself! How's your dd growing? Loved-good to hear from you. Running already-wow-I can't wait until I can walk normally! I'm so tired of moving so slow! Just standing up to do the dishes and my back hurts so bad I can't get to a chair fast enough. I'm 38 weeks today, so it can't go much longer than 2 more weeks, right? I hope not. This is number 4 (for giving birth to) and I'll be really bummed if I go past my due date on #4. Last night when we went to bed I started crying for no reason to dh telling him that I didn't want to come to work again and face everyone. My doc has said he'd give me the okay to stay home now but I just can't really afford to and figure as long as I'm physically able I should try to get my full pay. Besides sitting at home seems to make me restless too. I have a doc appt today so we'll see how it goes. Back to work....so glad everyone is doing well with their l.o's. Can't wait to share my birth story! I now have everything ready at home and just waiting for the little guy to make his appearance! Did anyone have horrible stomach pains before labor? I've been having terrible indigestion today and haven't been able to eat much at all....maybe it's a sign?

Babymakes5, how did your doctor's appointment go? Hang in there! The last few weeks are really tough and emotional. I felt the same way about working until the last minute... boy I miss pay day! It's funny you mentioned how tired you get washing the dishes, I used to bend over the sink while I was washing. It was the only way I could get close enough. Just try to spend some time with your feel up on the couch and get plenty of rest for the big event. Not sure if you we go over your due date but I can tell you labour was the longest at 9 hours after being induced. I ended up having an emergency c section at 8 cm dialated. So I am a firm believer that anything goes. Take care

Hi Ladies! Congrats Punkin!! Thats wonderful!! Today I went in and got blood work done for a 7 days past ovulation Progesterone test. I have been charting and LP is 9 or 10 days max. My af is light and I got a new family dr who thinks Prog. could be the culprit! Its been 15 cycles ladies!!!! All my other bloodwork was awesome, fsh etc. I have now lost 20 lbs and am moving right along. This moth my ovulation moved ahead by 1 full week, to cd19 versus cd25 last month. I'll get my prog. results tomorrow. have any of you taken the suppositores before..what are the side effects...any long term risks?
