Hi Ladies! Congrats Punkin!! Thats wonderful!! Today I went in and got blood work done for a 7 days past ovulation Progesterone test. I have been charting and LP is 9 or 10 days max. My af is light and I got a new family dr who thinks Prog. could be the culprit! Its been 15 cycles ladies!!!! All my other bloodwork was awesome, fsh etc. I have now lost 20 lbs and am moving right along. This moth my ovulation moved ahead by 1 full week, to cd19 versus cd25 last month. I'll get my prog. results tomorrow. have any of you taken the suppositores before..what are the side effects...any long term risks?

Val - June 6

hi ladies... LM3 - progesterone was my issue (I think, since I got pg when I started supplements) If I remember right, I did the suppository 3x/day starting after ovulation and going through the first trimester. I didn't notice any side effects. Congrats on the weight loss - that's awesome! And congrats on the shorter cycle. I think I o'd around day 19 when I got pg (I had been o'ing anywhere from cd 23-29 or so). I'm so hoping that you're close to getting your bfp! Punkin - congratulations! BM5, I know what you mean about work. I stopped about 10 days sooner than I had planned because I was just so darn large and uncomfortable but I felt bad about the money. But make sure to take care of yourself - don't overdo it! Hopeful - the purple crying stage is always scary! Sounds like you're doing well though. :-) SANN and COL, glad you are doing well! LB, sounds like you are doing well - I'm glad! I'm doing much better than a few days ago. I hit bottom on Sunday morning after struggling for a couple of days with weaning from the nipple shield. We went in for a lactation consult on Sunday and got an awesome consultant. She got the baby on both bbs (took 30 min on the left, and only 5 on the right) and basically suggested going cold turkey off the shield. We've done that and now we haven't used the shield since before the consult! Each feeding seems to gradually get better, and since he had gained 5 oz as of yesterday (an ounce a day, up to 8lb10oz now), we've started feeding on demand rather than trying to force him to eat when he wants to sleep, and that seems to be working great! My MIL has been here since we left the hospital (she's been an awesome help) and she and dh left me alone today for the first time with the baby. I think dh was expecting to come home to find me a wreck, but it was all totally fine! gotta run and prep for a baby bath. Hugs and good thoughts to all! xoxoxoxo

Hi everyone. Thanks for everyone's support. My doc appt went fine on Monday, he didn't check my cervix and I don't think anything's probably changed. Still having bh, but nothing consistent. Just waiting it out...ho hum. Val, so glad the bf is working out--it's so worth it! LM3-I have a feeling it won't be long now, sounds like all good things going on. Keep us posted! LovedB-I sure hope the results are good with your ds kidney fluid! Sounds like he's doing great otherwise. I picked up a paint by number picture for the baby's room so that I could do something while sitting. I figure it'll give me incentive to stay off my feet instead of trying to do too much, like usual. :) It keeps me occupied and it's something for the baby. I've had a lot of pelvic pressure and the doc says I'm measuring at 37 wks instead of 38 wks because of his head being down in the pelvic area. So that's a good thing. I think if I don't go by Monday (my 39 wk mark), I'll either start staying home or at least cutting my hours back. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm off to a doc appt for my ds, so bye for now. Hopeful and Tracy, how are you both doing with dd's?

Got my prog. results back. On 7 dpo my score was 16 and they said that was fine, but why the heck is my LP still 9 days with a result of 16? I am going to the dr Friday at 2 pm. She said I don't need prog, but I mustr need something if my Lp is still 9 days? I am so frustrated I cuold cry and am. My temp dipped down today and tomorrow is 10 dpo and I'm sure it'll dip below my coverline and I will awake with af. I'm so fristrated and sad.

Hi there all! Punkin - CONGRATULATIONS!! Don't worry about b___stfeeding - it'll settle down soon enough and you'll forget all the initial problems. I did!! Lovedblessings - I know exactly how you feel about having a train wreck of a body. Me too! What's worse is that my OB/Gyn (who says everything is fine with my recovery!) says that swimming (my only sport - and only form of real exercise) could cause b___st inflammation (too many bugs in the water) and that I should be cautious. I'm going to ask my midwife for a second opinion on that though coz I really want to start getting back into shape and I hate going to the gym which seems my only other option. Yuck!! RE. the cloth diapers ...... Yes they're a little more work but they're so worth it and I'm sure my DD prefers them to the disposables. Not a sign of any rash there either!! Great stuff. Val - I'm definitely with you on the feeding on demand thing. However, I sometimes wonder if DD gets confused between tummy ache and hunger so I always try to wind her first before giving her the b___st just incase she gets too used to having it every time she cries. She's recently found her thumb though and that can be a bit confusing - I'm not sure whether she's just using it for comfort or whether she's hungry and I only know for sure when I've unb___toned and got everything ready!!! Anyway, all is well here. Thankfully my rash has gone (which is great and seriously reduces the stress levels!!) but DD now has a little bit of heat rash on her neck and face. Typical! Thankfully it's nothing to worry about, according to pediatrician, so I won't!! Nights are getting much more bearable as DD is doing brilliantly and only wakes once a night at the moment (it has been twice and three times but recently we're down to one so I hope it stays that way!) Breastfeeding is going fine but I still can't see much of a pattern to her times so I hope that will start to emerge soon. I think she's going through a growth spurt at the moment anyway. Other than that, all is well. BM5 - How are you doing? Any progress? lovemy3 - try not to get too down. Look at the positive side - you're doing REALLY well with your weight loss and you're taking steps to try to understand your cycle. Remember - positivity breeds positivity!! Lots of love to you and hugs to all. Sorry I haven't replied to everyone - no time! Must go and eat while DD is asleep - it's now 10.30pm!!!! TTY soon I hope. XOXOXOXOXOX

Ladies, It is another beautiful morning hear. The sun is shining and the birds are singing, what a great way to start the day! Not to mention getting some one on one time with my baby boy, even if he does get up before the birds. Jackson just had his two month needles, poor guy! He was sleeping at the time, what a nasty way to wake up. Even though he is my third I still had the urge to cry with him. Nothing breaks a Mom's heart faster than seeing her baby in pain. He is weighing in at 13 pounds 4 ounces, which puts him on the 95 percentile for his weight, his height is on the 75 percentile. Not such a small baby, but very handsome. What a great work out for my arms with the two of them plus and very full diaper bag. The doctor has switched his medication so hopefully this will keep him infection free until his next ultrasound in July. Val that's great you had some time for yourself and the baby. It's wonderful having help around but some time for just the two of you is great heavenly as you stare into his eyes. How are you feeling, are you getting much sleep? Babymakes5 Work is tough when you are feeling big and tired. Hang in there soon you will be sharing you birth story! Do you paint often? I used to draw but haven't for years, I always found it very relaxing. DO you have names picked out for your son? Hopeful, I'm off for a run this morning to try and tone my train wreck. Has your incision closed? I bet you miss swimming, I love the water! A bath wasn't possible for weeks due to my incision. Won't it be wonderful to have your dd swimming with you. My 16 mth old was swimming at 6wks with me. This time I haven't been able to make it since it is too hard with both boys on my own. Hope everyone else is feeling great.. Take care!

Hey ladies...still no af. I will test on Monday if no af. that would make me 14 dpo. I am sitting on pins and needles afraid to look everythime I use the washroom. I'm hoping that the 20lbs has made a difference with my cycles. never the less, even if af arrives, my luteal phase is now in the normal range. My progesterone was normal for 7 dpo at 16 on last Tuesday. believe me, this has been a long haul, 15 cycles since we first started talking togther. I'm glad you are still here, I'll need you guys. Do you remember the oher lady "TTC" who was on here with us? Well, she is 11 dpo as well and waiting with me on the "Problems getting Pregnant Board". We are on the 2ww no More Thread. I'll post as soon as af arrives or I take a HPT test. Thank you for your hopes and prayers. Much love, xoxo
