Hello all! Just to say thank you so much for all your birthday wishes - they mean a great deal as I won't have many friends or family around on the day so I'll take those thoughts with me. lovemy3 is right though to say it may be one of the last times me and DH get to go away alone for a while so I'm looking forward to the time together!! Anyway, I'll be MIA for the next few days so won't update until the end of next week. Can't wait to hear all your news when I get back. I suspect it may take me a day or two just to read through the posts judging by how quickly we fill them up at the moment!! Mind you, you won't have my lengthy tomes to battle through so perhaps that'll shorten it a bit!! LOL!!! Anyway, as usual I'm rabbiting away about nothing so I'll go now. Have a great week all of you and keep the positive vibes flowing! Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)

Morning ladies and happy weekend! Hopeful, I know you are gone now, but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday as well, even though you will get this late. I am a day shy of being 14 weeks and I have to go buy more maternity clothes today. I can't believe it. I have pants that fit my b___t and legs, but can't be zipped more than halfway due to my bump. At first I thought, I've just gained weight, etc.... but no, the belly is firm and large. I start working again next week since being on bedrest for the first 2 and half months of this pregnancy. I have nothing to wear, so I must go shopping for at least some pants. Plus, our sorry excuse for a winter (South Florida) is here, so some pants are needed at night now. Well, sounds like everyone is doing well, which makes me super happy, so I will check in on you girlies later. BM5, my next appointment is on the 27th also, so we can stick this out together. I just had an ultrasound last Friday, heard the heartbeat yesterday, and have to wait a little over a week to go to the doc again. I know I sound crazy, but I can a__sure you I am not. Since I had enlarged ovaries due to the meds I took to get PG, they were giving me U/S's to check them every two weeks, so I got a little spoiled by that, and then paranoid like I explained in a previous post. Anyway, have a great day!!!!! Val, haven't heard from you, are you well?

Hi all... sorry I've been MIA - had a tone of work this week, plus lots of hours spent prepping for a fundraiser that's happening tonight. I've been reading, even if I don't post! HOPEFUL, I think you've left on your trip but happy late birthday to you! TRACY, glad you are doing well. I know what you mean about worrying between u/s. I had heard the hb nearly every week for a bit, but now it's been over 2 weeks since my last appt. Congrats to every who has gotten good results on their tests. We're going in on Monday for the Nuchal so please think good thoughts for us! Otherwise, besides being tired from working so much, I'm doing ok. Still puking every morning of course, but usually my afternoons/evenings have been really good. I hit week 14 tomorrow which is really exciting! Gotta run...have to work till 3pm and then head to the fundraiser to help out. Can't wait for my day off tomorrow and for Monday and Tuesday to be done - then I'll have 5 days off! ttyl...

Hi all, Nothing new here. test day is saturday, feeling worn out by all this, 7 long months and a big fat 0 so far. KD, how are you? I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are? I pray this month is it for both of us, its so hard. I don't feel like it took this month for some reason,l not sure why, just a feeling. maybe because of so many months now, not sure. I guess we'll wait and see. How is everyone else doing? Hopeful... hope you had a super time!

LM3--regardless of whether this is your month or not, don't give up hope. My sister in law is 28 years old and it took her 9 months to get PG with baby #1. Coincidentally she is one month ahead of me and due in April. There is no reason you can't get PG, so just try to take each month in stride and know that at some point it will happen. I remember going to a teacher's meeting (I used to be one) in June of this year and 4 teachers there were PG. I kept feeling sorry for myself and almost felt like crying because I just didn't understand what was wrong with me. Well if the universe would have told me that within three months I would be pregnant, I probably wouldn't have felt so bad. Unfortunately the world doesn't work that way, but you do have people like me who can tell you not to put so much pressure on yourself, it will happen before you know it. You obviously know you can get PG, so roll with it sista!

Oh, forgot to mention what a lucky person I am. My other sister in law and my mother in law both took me shopping today at the maternity store! They spoiled the c___p out of me. They are my Christmas and Hannukah gifts a little early, but wow, they are the coolest! Now I can stop wearing the same outfit day in and day out!

Is anybody else suffering from sinus headaches? or just plain headaches? Were any of you migraine sufferers before getting PG? I'm having a bad week as far as headaches go and it sucks.

Hi Ladies, FInally have a few minutes to chat. Hopefully.. my nine month old just had his flu shot and had a reaction to it. Poor guy is feeling really fussy. SOunds like a lot of great results are pouring in.. how wonderful is that after the genetic counseling.. what a tough experience to go through. For those of you buying maturinity wear you would think if they can put a man on the moon surely they could make a pregnant women look and feel s_xy, Instead of feeling like she had just borrowed her grandmothers clothes. Just a little complaint on my part. It's so important to still feel great, towards the end of my pregnancy I felt more like a beached whale. So far my tops are just starting to get tight but I know the tent wear is in sight. With my last pregnancy I used the pregnancy without pounds web site which was an excellent reminder not to over eat. THis time the urge to strap on the feed bag is sometimes overwhelming. Home made hamburgers are a weekness at the mometn. Any one else experiencing cravings? How many people have found out the s_x of their little one or are waiting to? Lovemy3 and KD my fingers are crossed that this is your month. Tylersmommy the utlrasound was great however his kidneys seem to be on the high side of the norm. So glad that we have had the amnio testing as this is taken as a soft marker for downs. THe doctor told us that this is not uncommon for boys so I am TRYING hard not to worry. Hmmm pregnant women not worrying lol that is so funny. That or I must still be over tired from the new shift I am working. Hopeful and excited hope u had a great b-day. My little one is demanding my attention... hope to chat soon take care Louisa

LOVEDBlessings... I haven't had many cravings... I kind of take each meal one at a time and see what sounds good. I had some tater tots yesterday - yum! And I'm looking forward to homemade cranberry sauce and stuffing for Thanksgiving! LM3, I'm crossing my fingers for you. TRACY, headaches are one thing that I haven't been having. I don't usually get them so when I do I'm really wimpy about them. I did have one about a week ago. My extra fun new symptom are nosebleeds - anyone else having these? Usually early in the morning. Well, my NT is tomorrow. I'm hoping for the best. Hope everyone had a nice weekend... Val

Good morning all. CD28 here for me. So anytime from now till cd33 af could arrive. If its coming (hope not!) I would bet cd32 looking at my ovulation date. So still aways away. No symptoms yet so thats good. Tracy...thanks for the cheer up, feeling better. As for the headaches, I had ,them too and they were really strong headaches. With each pregnancy I felt always stuffed up. That can be a regular thing you feel all thru, which is awful because it makes headaches a million times worse. I was told there was nothing yuo can take for the sinus part, unless its actually an infection and you need antibiotics. As for the heaches, I have always taken Tylenol. louisa and Val... glad you gguys are well!

Morning Ladies, Lovemy, I'm so praying this is your month. I've got my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted. Hopeful, I know you already left, but Happy belated Birthday when you return. Tracey, I remember having the worst headaches ever during my preg. I didn't want to take any medicine, but I couldn't bare it sometimes & did take the occasional Tylenol. They did subside during my 2nd Trim, I hope your's end soon. It sounds like you're having a rough pregnancy. My guess is you're having a girl, but I'm usually wrong!lol LovedBless, I laughed out loud about your urge to put on the feedbag..I remember that too! I'd frightened my husband how quickly I could eat a huge amount...especially rare meat! I can't remember, what s_x is your bean? I think I need to make a chart, I can't keep up w/ everyone & I feel like I ask the same questions over & over. Oh well, I so badly want to write more, but I have a really tight deadline, so I better get back to work. No opk's for me this month, just trying to bd every other night, but not demanding it if we don't feel up to it. Hope all is well.

Good morning everyone! Sure wish I was Hopeful right now instead of at my desk at work! Hopeful-hope you're having a great time!! KD-I am so glad that you're not putting a lot of pressure on your b-ding. I think that's very healthy. LM3-my fingers are still crossed, try to stay busy the next few days to keep your mind off things. Are you having a Thanksgiving dinner to get ready for? Is anyone doing any traveling this week for the holidays? I'll be going to my moms. Glad I'm not doing the big dinner at my house--no energy!! This way I can just make a contribute and benefit from all the yummy foods! Cravings--I've been craving pretzels dipped in cream cheese--pickles--and tomato soup! With lots of crackers and milk! yum, yum...Tracy, is your appt. on the 27th in the AM or PM? Mine's in the PM, but that way DH can go too, which will be great for the first time we hear the hb. Can't wait!!! Tylersmommy-I love the name Hannah!! And good luck on your scan today-let us know how it goes. DH likes the name Brooke for a girl. I'm not sure yet, and I have plenty of time to think about it. He's also convinced I'm carrying twins, but no reason to believe so. I think it's just wishful thinking on his part :) LOL Val-no nosebleeds, but I have had a little blood occasionally when I b__w my nose, but here it's so cold that it's not uncommon because of being so dry in the winter. Good luck today on your NT. I have had several headaches Tracy and I have had migraines in the past. Seems like the headaches go in weeks at a time. Some weeks I have several, others I have none--I wonder if it's diet related? I can't seem to figure it out. I usually try not to take anything if I can help it, but sometimes I just have to take some Tylenol to knock them out. My biggest complaint is my growing and aching uterus. It seems like these "growing" pains just keep getting stronger and stronger. I'm 10wks today and I can't fit into several of my pants already! Tracy-I'm so happy for you that you got some clothes--there's nothing better than feeling better about yourself when you're body is not shaped the way it used to be. Lately I just feel like a beach whale--and I have so long to go....oh well, I should savor these times, it could be last pregnancy for me...especially if it's twins. LOL Have a great day everyone, belly rubs and baby dust to all....XXXOOO

BM5, my appointment is first thing in the morning on the 27th. About the headache thing....... I told the doc last week that I get frequent headaches and that I take Tylenol at least 4 days a week and he said not to worry. What I do worry about are the migraines I get. I had one 5 weeks ago and went to the ER in the middle of the night. They shot me up with Demerol (OB said it was OK). Well, yesterday I started getting another one, so I took the prescription called Tylox that they gave me in the ER that night, and although it helped with the pain, I felt guilty and scared that I was putting an opiate into my body. To make matters worse, I had to take another one this morning. When I get migraines on the right side of my head, they are usually mild and go away with steam, advil, then ice, but when I get them on the left I need Imitrex, which you can't take while PG. I tried to ride this one out without any meds, but just couldn't. I'm feeling guilty as hell here today. I go through the same thing where some weeks I won't have any headaches at all, then other weeks, I wake up with one every day. I am very careful with my diet, so I don't know why it would happen like that. I just know that right now in week 14 estrogen is rising, so that could explain this week.

Tracy88-I'm fortunate, I have not had the migraines to that extent. Try not to feel guilty though, there are worse things that you could do! And the stress of pain from a migraine on your body can't be good either. No need to suffer, I'm sure baby wouldn't want that. Just try to take it easy and rest-are you back to work yet? If it's the estrogens surges, is there anything they can do to offset it? Hopefully they won't continue beyond this week. Good luck!
