Hi ladies, I am TTC for 2nd baby for the past 5 years. I have used ivf 3times just 6 months ago for my second baby and didn't get pregnant. I am 37 now. I have been on metformin for 1and1/2 years. I took clomid for 1 year for my 1st baby(without metformin) 10 years ago. Did anyone get pregnant with metformin and clomid at this age? Please answer me, I am desperate now. Thanks

Hi there, I'm 36yrs and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for for the first time for about 2 years. I was on clomid & metformin for the maximum amount of time and was told by my OB that there was nothing else they could do for me until I saw a fertility specialist. I had a dye test which showed that my tubes were fine and everything looked ok. I gave up, thinking that I wasn't going to get pregnant. Stopped taking everything. Two months later I had an appt with the specialist and we were about to start the meds again. I took a preg test that night before starting meds and it was positive!! Our baby is due Jan 23rd. I think that the drugs helped kick start me and once I relaxed, it happened! My advice is to follow the Dr's instructions and keep busy so you aren't dwelling on getting pregnant. I got really involved with our horse club and riding. It kept my mind on other things. Best of luck to you!!

Hi...I am 36 and used both metaforim and chlomid. I was on metaforim for 5 months..then I did not round of chlomid with IUI and it worked! Fertility specialists really pinpointed the problem and combined with the meds...it really worked. Good luck
