Wow, I just found out i'm pregnant and I sure am on an emotional roller coaster. Not only am I unsure if I made a right decision in having another baby. My emotions are running wild. Could it be just hormones that are giving me these mood swings? or is it the fact that i have no insurance yet, that money is "more" than tight, and other than my husband, i will probably have no support from my family once they hear the news. Are any of you gals pen pals in here?

leahsong - I would say money is definitely causing you some stress? Is there any chance you can get on a medical card? Are you taking prenatal vitamins?

I went to the store and bought a store brand prenatal vitamins. I'm trying to eat right also. This is my third pregnancy and my first two went well. I just missed my period over a week ago and took home tests..lol. But I will have to wait til my husbands insurance kicks in the first of June.

will they consider your pregnancy pre-existing or are you going to "pretend" to somehow not know for that long?

I am not even sure if I am pregnant but one of my strong symptons is severe moodiness. I don't think anyone has noticed as I keep quiet as of lately. I just feel irritated by everything and this is definitely out of sorts for me as I am usually so easygoing and laugh a lot at just about everything.

Ahhhh..the dreaded mood swings. I've had those since the beginning of my preg. and I'm 4 1/2 months now. Believe me stress definitely makes it worse. You should check out the ACCESS card for insurance, if you are not eligible they can give you numbers for other agency that can help. Also since your condition is pre-existing your husbands medical coverage won't cover you. I found that out the hard way with my second child. Also most doctors are willing to work with you if you have to pay cash, just ask them.
