i was really sick during the 6th week of preg. then - the 7th week seemed quite mild. this morning, i woke up so sick i didn't even want to MOVE ... I've been fighting it all morning. Does morning sickness normally come and go? I'd also be interested in hearing what others do when it's really bad like this.

I had a horrible problem with morning sickness in my first trimester. I pretty much had to stay at home on the couch for months because when I tried to go out I would have dry heaves or have to find a bathroom really quick! Try eating some crackers before you get out of bed in the morning and take your time getting up. Also, make sure you get plenty of water during the day. I know you will be sick of crackers & water, but they really do help. The good news is that my morning sickness completely went away at the end of the 1st trimester/beginning of the 2nd trimester. Chances are yours will too. And to answer your question about morning sickenss coming & going...yes it can. Just when I thought I was over being sick and everyting was going to be smooth sailing, it would strike back with a vengence. Just know that you are not alone and it will all be worth it in the end!
