Perl, you & dh relax and tonnes of fun : ) Talk to you soon. Tryingx3, I have no idea, progesterone comes in a powdered form. Back then, when I first started spotinng my ob/gynae had me on dydrogestrone(pills) and had the oily injectables (every other day), well both forms didn't worked .. I guess : ( I'm still considered a newbie on this ttc road, there're so much I should learn from all of you. What's the name, this powdered form of progesterone? Were you on ov meds? My ob/gynae is eager to put me on ov meds but dh & I are a little hesitant cos of the side effects. I haven't experienced any side effects from tcm (been on it since Jan05). Did I mentioned .. we got pg on the 6th cycle. It seems like ... this time round it's taking too long for me to get pg again. I'm still taking my prenatal vtis and dh's taking his vits (coupled with tcm). Any suggestions/ideas to increase our chances? Thank so much again.

They were 200 mg suppositories, I guess compounded from a powder and some kind of glycerin (I am guessing). I could not take the name brand Prometrium - pill form - made my throat itch, besides the dizzy, not focused feeling it gives a lot of other people! I was checked for allergy to peanuts (due to ingredients in Prometrium). I have always had reg. cycles, so did not take anything else (besides prenatal vit). Will remain on folic acid for the rest of my life due to blood factor detected during some of our testing. Started 81mg baby aspirin once pg detected. No suggestions! Sorry!!!!

Sann - are you "back with us"?

SANN - August 4

Yes! Yes! Yes! Tryingx3, it's me. Dh fixed our notebook, our IT support was too busy too but they'll come look at for sercurity issues cos I work from home(most of the time now and the firm is extremely concerned about sercurity) I registered twice with the site sometime ago but was not able to login, once Sann but that didn't go through, then 2nd time I registered in caps. I'm so happy and relieved .... I can post like everyone else : ) Thanks so much for bearing with this login problem of mine for the past weeks. Hope you're doing fine. How many more weeks till due date? I'm on cd25 or 5dpo, think ov'd on cd20(my temps started rising) .... wish me luck! Have a nice weekend : )

Glad your husband was able to help out! We usually "roll" the next week on Sundays, based on LMP...so Sunday we will count us at 33 weeks, but we are really a few days short of that. I am tired - a lot going on with life, work and organizing new baby stuff. :-) I forgot my own father's birthday - way to go, huh? Best wishes with the temping! You'll have to tell me what is good and what is bad...never did the temp thing.

SANN - August 5

Hi Tryingx3 ... I think, it's happens to everyone when they've alot going on. Especially when you're working throughout your pregnancy, one of the "perks' being pg ... heeheehee : ) I'm sure your daddy wouldn't mind, he'll have a grand daughter to "play" with real soon : ) Hey ...try to take things easy though easier said that done( I'm trying not be a workaholic too) Re : Temp'ing - post ov temps should stay high for 15-18 days(at least that's what my doc said) before I start testing. Last time, had my hpt +ve on 18dpo ... a very faint. My ob/gynae said, this time round, should I get a +ve (even if it's a very faint line) ... I go in to see her asap. She''ll want to put me progesterone (or something) ...just to be on the safe side. Anyway, enough about me. 33 weeks ....I'm so excited for you : ) And it's must be so fun putting in stuffs for the baby. I can't wait for it to be our turn. By the way ... "towel method", we tried it a couple time this cycle. Have a nice day : )

Sann - best wishes....prometrium form of progesterone has some weird side effects...dizziness, almost out of body kind of stuff...like I had to focus on an object to pick it up...and I was only 200 mg per day. Had friend on 400 mg a day and she said she really felt out of it. As mentioned previously, the suppositories were a pain, but I didn't have any of those side effects. Of course, if you travel, you have to keep them cool. We took a trip and they had their own cooler, then fridge when we got to our hotel.

SANN - August 6

Tryingx3 : ) I haven't a clue which form of progesterone my doctor is going put me on. I'll ask to her if it's prometrium. Don't want to be dizzy when I'm driving around town running errands. How's organizing the baby stuff going?

tryingx3 - August 6

Sann - my best friend came over Saturday for a few hours to help with stuff, but we didn't even make a dent. I literally have over 100 thank you notes to write...blessing and a curse! Ha Ha We washed all of the 0-3 mo stuff in Dreft, but now it is just in a pile...because I don't have a dresser to put it in! The "older" stuff is still in a different pile. My husband has been out of town for the last week and only home 5 days the week before...tomorrow he comes home and doesn't travel again until November! Whew!! Temps still going up?

SANN - August 6

Hi Tryingx3 .... Sounds like you had a lot of fun on Saturday : ) Woww ... tonnes of stuff for the baby hahhhh : ) Great to hear that your hubby don't have to travel till Nov. I know ... I hate it when the hubby is away. Now that we are "seriously" ttc, he goes on "turn around" work trips trvalling within the region. Yep! temp's still up this morning... hope it stays up for the next 10 days : ) and af doesn't show then it's "testing" time. How's the energy level? Are you still going to work?

tryingx3 - August 7

Still going to work...energy level pretty good...would be better if I weren't pushing to get so much stuff done. :-) My husband says when he gets home...he is going to make me rest. So...too bad I didn't get more done while he was gone! Ha Ha. I hope to work until she comes...so I can spend time with her, not waiting for her! I also work in the hospital where I plan to deliver.

SANN - August 7

Tryingx3 ... so it's "pamper time" for you when the hubby gets home .... so sweet : ) Working in a hospital .. I gather you have shift work and you're definitely in good hands : ) I have orders(from physician) to stay home this week and not do anything strenuous. I hope this will the month : )

tryingx3 - August 8

Sann - I don't do anything strenous NOW! I have had to have a lot of help, but now at my stage have given up the after-hour pager and any projects that require lifting. So good to have a doctor who supports you!
