Trying: yeah I was scared of the co-sleeping too especially because my dh is a deep sleeper and would likely roll over onto baby but I put a wedge in the middle of the bed and push my dh whenever I see him crossing the line. : ) Also the little guy is pretty skilled at scooting over to be right up against his food source. After I nurse I move a few inches away from him and when I wake he has moved towards me. I've had a couple of scares but at this point I don't sleep much anyway so I'm good about checking on him. Sooner or later I'll transition him to the cradle I keep by my side of the bed. Anyway, Pete is 8 weeks old now and is getting heavier and chunkier so I believe you're right about growth spurt. So I have to look forward to another spurt at 13 weeks, thanks for the warning. I'm still only pumping 1.5 to 2 ounces per b___st in a 10 minute pumping session. Feels like my supply isn't even increasing yet along with his appet_te--did you feel this way too Trying??? ****Sann: are you out there? How did it go? I hope we aren't boring you with baby feeding and sleeping stories, etc. Hopefully all of this gives you a preview of what you have to look forward to. : )

Perl - I didn't pump a whole lot at that stage but probably had luck with about 3 oz at at time if I remember correctly. They say vitamin c increase production (and maybe vitamin B...but I can't remember!). I don't know what helps the fogginess! ha ha I pump about 12 oz a day now, in 2 sessions.

Thanks Trying, so maybe there's some hope for me still. (?) Doesn't sound like you have to supplement with formula but when did you start pumping? ***Sann: where are you? How are you and baby doing?

Perl - I started pumping at 3.5 wks but only one time a day in order to introduce bottle...now I pump 2-3 times a day at work but Katie doesn't eat very much when away from me. I usually leave 3 4oz bottles for her while I am gone. Only 2x has she taken a 4th bottle with formula.

I discovered it after feeding Katie one night. I was almost the size of a walnut...it didn't go away...had ultrasound today and it is gone! Woo hoo! They "chalked it up" to hormones and lactation...but told me to do monthly exams and stay in touch with my OB.

Trying --- Sorry about the "ma__s scare" , I'm glad it's gone now ... what a relieve : ) How's little Katie's cold? Hope she feels better soon. I'm happy to hear that Katie is growing by the day : ) I can't wait for our little girl to arrive : ) Since the "ma__s" is gone what is this "something" that you're fighting : ( : ( : ( Do let us know will be here for you : ) Perl --- That's so great both you and little Pete are doing fine : ) Oh!!!! You girls aren't boring me, like you said it a preview : ) By the way ... we been thinking about co-sleeping too but we need to find the proper "baby bedding stuffs" or we'll probably squash the baby when she sleeps with us in bed ... hahaha! Girls have you heard of this label called Avent for baby stuffs. We went shopping at Baby "R" Us and found a whole range of stuffs. This label seems to be very popular here. Gotta go get some lunch my tummy is calling out for food ..... ttyl : )

SANN - just fighting a cold...sore throat, runny nose. Avent is very popular bottle brand here, my dd didn't take to it. We used Playtex nursers...her pick. :-) Katie is babbling up a storm, trying to roll over and loves her bath...and has just found her feet! Perl - what is little Peter doing?

Other than not letting me sleep much at night (ha ha), little Peter is smiling so much and squealing. Avent, yes we got some at Babies R us too but I stopped using them for my preferred bottles (First Years Breastflow bottles) which are much slower flow and more like the b___st. Avent is very popular though. Each baby has his/her preference, I'd suggest you try a couple of different ones to see what works best for you and your baby.

I've also heard Dr. Browns are good, but have not used them.

Hi! Peter just went 7 days without any poop and it was freaking me out! He finally had a b__wout that filled his diaper and off to the bathtub we went. His pediatrician said this is normal. Has it happened to you too Trying? ****How are you ladies? I miss hearing from you but I know we're all busy (Sann with all the appointments and getting ready for birth--YAAAY!! and Trying and I with our newborns). I'm sleep deprived but doing alright. Pete is 13 pounds and attempting to speak frequently--he's going to be a chatty loud one!
