Sann - I don't do anything strenous NOW! I have had to have a lot of help, but now at my stage have given up the after-hour pager and any projects that require lifting. So good to have a doctor who supports you!

HI Tryingx3 ... that's so great hear you have good co-workers helping you out. OH yes! my phyiscian ...she's been a great support and encouragement during all this time. She told us her own story too ... Reason why she's especialising in fertility issues(she hates to use the word infertility) cos she too suffered some fertility issues when in her 20s and only conceived #1 when she turned 40. How's things?

Oh Tryingx3 .... You make me laugh (though it's no laughing matter) but seriously ..... I think you doing great too maybe/except for the doc going on vacation. If it was me ..... I would go "freaking" panic. But again and seriously .... will there be a "back up" doc (or is there such a thing as a "buddy system" or something) for baby's delivery. OK ... this may sound stupid ...... is there such a plan where you're from .... the US .... Canada ... or ??? I panicking now though I'm not pg woman here : ( : ( : ( Tell me there's a "back up" gynae. By the way ... the crock pot you mean it has a roasting function ... hahaha ... yet another stupid question, so much for culinary skills and knowledge for kitchen equipments. I have a crock pot ... original masking tape is still intact. Talk to you soon : )

My OB is in a practice by herself until NEXT WEEK...when a young MALE doctor will be joining her practice. My OB has been doing this for close to 30 years I am guessing. For after hours, she rotates with 5 OB's in the area, he is one of them. So...there was a chance he would have been the delivering doctor anyway. I just would prefer a woman and would prefer MY OB - she has been with us through 2 m/c and this entire pg. Many folk tell me that as active as I am that there is a good chance our lil one will come early or that I might be "ready" before she leaves. So...then I have the dilemma of letting nature run its course or getting induced. (Just put roast in crock pot, add water, seasoning, turn on). :-)

Roast story - I emailed my husband (who works from home) roast 101 instructions...he called freaking out...saying I thought you were joking until I opened the refrigerator. He carried on and carried on while preparing the roast by my instructions and talking to me on the phone. It was pretty hilarious! I can't wait until we get the 1st poopy diaper!

Oh!!! Tryingx3, I know what you mean .... young male doc ... young and male!!!!!. My ob/gynae, she'll turn 60 or 60 something next year, I heard from the nurses. And she rotates with another ob/gynae ... her age, the reason by we picked her from a practice of 5 doctors. The oldest ob/gynae/Re ... he's in his 70s and he delivered me and dh, well didn't pick him cos he's male. What was my mom and mom in law thinking ...male? They said to pick him but you know ...! By the way ... that where/how our moms get to be friends in the first place, same doc hahaha! That's a tough one ... nature or induction? I would tell baby to come quick ... mommy's not comfortable with the young male doc but that's me, the panic and control freak when it's come to child bearing!!! I'm a different woman all together .. go figure! The crock pot and roast ... still not getting it : ( I think you husband can do better job than me : ) Hummm! come to think of it ... I've got no experience with diaper changing either, I hope there's some maternal instincts in me when it happens for us. Got to go ... got to go look for one of those "Ferning fertility monitors", opk sticks ... driving me nuts, used up close to a dozen this cycle(10 to exact) TTYL

Sooooo....funny...I used a fork to lift the roast out of the crock pot...there was ANOTHER fork still attached to the bottom of the roast, where my husband avoided touching it and put it in the pan! It cooked the entire time that way! Hope you have a good weekend. We are going to look at furniture tomorrow...no rain forecasted. I told him yesterday he needs to be working on names!

Tryingx3 ... that's so funny, I had that happen to me once, left the fork in the chicken when I was trying to roasted it in the oven ... didn't realised, hahaha. Cooking ... is really not my thing : ( My dh does a better job except whenever he cooks for us ... it's like the kitchen has gone through a storm. Hope you find the perfect furniture for little precious one and the perfect name too : ) Have fun shopping and you have a great weekend too : )

Sann - when is Perl coming back? :-) I have been sick!! Yuck! Found a stomach virus somewhere, fever, chills, yick. Doc ended up calling in anti-nausea med for me. Missed work today and still not 100%...not sick anymore, but stomach unsettled. Had u/s this morning and they are estimating her at 5 lbs 11 oz!!! So...we are saying 6 wks or LESS to go...maybe we will have early induction! BP was good, obviously hadn't gained any weight! U/S tech says she has hair! I am so excited! My hubbie and I both were born with hair! :-)

Hi Sann & Tryingx3, I'm here, I'm back!! The vacation was awesome and very relaxing. I could not move around as much as I normally would if I were not the round rollie pollie that I am right now. The 5 hour flights were a bit uncomfortable and oh yeah I had to throw away my favorite lipstick and other stuff at the airport on the way back home because of the tightened airport security---but it was all worth it. : ) I just wanted to drop in and say a quick hello. I missed chatting with you and will have to catch up more later by reading up on what's been going on with you. Trying: sorry to hear you've been sick but good that you're getting better. Wow only 6 weeks to go--how exciting! Sann: it's nice to see that your login problems are over--you must be happy about that.

Glad you are back Perl and had a great trip! I'll bet you are glad to be off of that plane - for multiple reasons!! I missed work again today was up all night with acid reflux...miserable...finally able to eat today. I told my husband I have "lost" 3 days just when I have so much to get done. I think I may be starting to feel human again! :-) Sann - how are the temps?

Hello ladies, sorry for not responding sooner .... dh was sick coming back from work trip and I was caught up with work too. TRYINGX3 ... Sorry you're not feeling well. I so excited for you ... less than 6 weeks to go and she has hair : ) Oh! don't worry about having stuff to be done, the hubby's home to give a helping hand ... all you should think about is getting plenty of rest and get well soon. Hope you're feeling better today : ) PERL ... You're sound really cheery, vacation must be been great. The security @ the airport here had been stepped up ... had to wait for quite a while for Dh. How's every thing going? Well ... it's 17dpo/cd37 and my temps had been constant @ 99.64F for the past 3-4 mornings. My docs said to starting this weekend. I'm haven't been having pg sign(except for some cramps) and my moods' been good too ... only 1 oca__sion when I was totally irritable and I got angry with everything and everyone. TTYL : )
