my main concern is i am 13 weeks and i have been having s_x in the past few weeks, yesterday i went to go wipe and found a strand of pink blood, I am terrifed now and i am worried. My friend told me not to worry as s_x may cause this as the cervix is very ripe. The last time this happened about a month ago I had an ultra sound and everything was okay. My friend told me that she abstained from s_x the whole nine months. Does anyone have any advice on this.? please and thankyou

Your friend is right as far as s_x causing spotting in some women sometimes. I think abstaining from s_x for the entire 9 months is a little extreme. I'm in week 12 and have had problems in the past so I have cut back on the number of times and the number of minutes and the intensity of s_x but have not stopped it altogether. Don't be terrified, please, a little spotting is perfectly normal. If you see any more maybe you can go get another ultrasound to ease your mind but unless you start bleeding more heavily, you shouldn't worry too much.

i went to see my docter and he said no s_x for a while, he said even though miscarragie drops down at 12 weeks its still possible. i guess your never safe

Good to hear that your Dr told you that---it makes me feel a little less like a paranoid woman depriving my dh of as much s_x as we're used to having. It's alright though, this has pushed dh and I to learn how to be a little more creative in the bedroom. : )
