Thinking About Having Another Little One

If the test line is darker than the control, it's a positive!!! I know you're tired, but it's time to tag dh for the next couple of days...you get busy girl!!! Maybe this will be your month and you can ditch that night job. I had a 2nd job through my last pg and after my lo was born. They went out of business last October so one job is enough for me now. Btw, I wouldn't waste the other tests since you got your positive (unless you don't believe it). I'll check back in tomorrow am. Have a great (busy) night! Colleen

Hi clindholm & krissy68. How are both of you beautiful ladies? clindholm, congrats on your pregnancy! I actually would have been about 7 weeks ---- just as you are, but I found out yesterday through stat ultrasound, that there is no heartbeat. :-( Also, the hcg #'s should have doubled from 15,000 within 48 hrs, but they actually declined to the 12,000 level; which is why my doc ordered the stat ultrasound. Showed a sac, but no heartbeat. Anyways ladies, I am scheduled for a d&c tomorrow morning around 7:30a (have to be at the hospital at 5:30), I had 3 options: be given a medication that would cause me to complete the miscarriage at home, miscarry on my own without medication, or having the d&c surgery: I chose this. With the medication or the natural process of miscarriage, I don't want to just be at home (or somewhere else); doing alot of cramping & heavy bleeding. I've had the d&c about 4 yrs ago; takes about 15-20 min ---- although I think it's a little worse on you psychologically. I'll be ok though. Don't know if I want to try for more; I'm not sure I can go through the first trimester of wondering if everything is alright. Hubby says he doesn't mind trying again, but I'll have to give it some serious thought. Well, I'll let you know how the surgery turns out, and I will be praying for the both of you. clindholm, you keep doing well with that baby, & krissy68, I hope the baby sprinkles have finally caught up with you! Take care dearhearts, Bunny

Clindholm - You are too funny you know I just feel out my chair laughing and of course they are looking at me like what kind of drugs you on. Will I be okay to bd at 3am which is cd 15 because dh is going golfing and by the time I get home I will be leaving for the school when he should be leaving from the golf course I will get my second wind. Oh trust me if I get a BFP and make it through the first tri then I am going to quit. Thanks for the support. 3_babies_at_41 - My heart is breaking for you and dh right now but your dh is a sweetheart for saying that he is willing to try again. I will be praying for you and I agree with you I would want a d&c also and take your time to try again you will be okay. I love you girl hang in there. Krissy68

Thankyou for your consolation krissy68 --- and it makes me feel better to know that there is someone else who would have made the same decision that I did. Thankyou for your prayers, and I love you too!! ps. It made me smile to read that you fell out of your chair, from something funny that clindholm said. You didn't bust anything when you fell, did you? :-)

3babies- I am so so sorry for you. I feel like crying. I would want to get it over quickly as well and hope the recovery goes as best as it can. I know the emotional recovery will be the hardest and deciding to ttc again will be a difficult decision for you. Your dh sounds very sweet and I am glad that you have such a good guy. Colleen

clindholm - April 25

Krissy- my tests used to say you O in 24-36 hrs from when you get the positive so 3am should be perfect! Do your tests say the same? So let me get this straight, you have two jobs and go to school??? OMG, I wish I had even half of your stamina! Not to mention bd'ing too! You are my hero!

3babies- Good to hear from you and I'm glad at least the procedure is over with. I know the hardest part is yet to come, I have you in my prayers and hope you are feeling as well as can be expected. My scan, I thought went well, then the doc left me a msg to repeat the scan this Thursday b/c there is a blood spot in my uterus. I don't know how that can effect the baby and I am now back to worrying. I did get to hear the h/b- 153 bpm so that was great. I just don't know what to think at this point. The u/s tech said the spot was probably from implantation, but why do they need to recheck? If you don't mind me asking, what type of symtoms were you having? Did they give you any reason for the loss? I sure hope you are feeling better soon. Krissy- how are you? I haven't seen you on in awhile?

Hi ladies, clindholm, I don't feel that I should disclose that sort of information to you; it will only cause you to worry ---- about something that may not even be "worry-worthy". It's good that you got to hear a good, strong heartbeat; something that I only wish I could have heard. Don't worry yourself so much; let the doctors work their magic (whatever that is). That spot in your uterus may not be anything serious, so just try & stay calm. Also, docs don't really know a reason for pregnancy loss/miscarriage ---- it is just inevitable when it begins to happen. Could be attributed to my age, the declining quality of the eggs/sperm, excess caffeine consumption in early pregnancy --who knows? Just try not to worry so much, and let me know how the scan turns out Thursday. In the meantime, I'm here for you & with you girl, and I'm sure krissy68 is too. How are ya krissy68 ---- your buddies need to hear from you! Take care all, 3babies

clindholm - April 29

I am trying not to worry, but cannot find any info about this anywhere. I hope you are doing well and on the road to recovery. I will let you know what happens Thursday.

3_babies_at_41 - How are you feeling today? I'm sorry I have been missing for a few days but I don't have access to a computer during the weekend and I was off yesterday because I had a dental appointment. I am cd 20 so I guess that will make me 2dps if this is correct. I have been bding like crazy and I am tired I wanted to take a break but had to go home at lunch for a quickie. I think he is wanting a baby more then me. Clindholm - I agree don't worry everything will be okay you got to hear your baby 's heartbeat so that is a Big Plus can't wait to hear how the next u/s goes. Krissy68

hello...can I join your group?? I was looking for a place that will not judge me...I am 36(younger than yall I know) but I am getting all sorts of comments about tcc....my history.....I have a 17 y/o son (I was just a teen my self) then in 2003 met my DH and we decided to get married and had dreams of 2 kids....well our DD came along in Nov 05 by C-sec (my 17 y/o was natural) when she was 11 mos I found out I was preggo...I was on the pill and took it everyday never missed one and I realized that it was time to start a new pack and had never had my AF so I took a test and it was BFP!!!!!so that was my baby angel Joshua.. he was born May 07 by Csec and I also had my tubes tied at that time because we had our 2......well Joshua remember when I said he was my angel Joshua well ...I mean Angel because we lost him at 9 weeks of age to SIDS........so after ALOT of talking thinking and praying we decided to have another one so on March 26 I had a tubal reversal and went back yesterday for my final post op appt and we were given the green light to TCC!!!!!!! now I am getting comments from family, friends and coworkers "why do you want to so this at your age?" "are you stupid you had your son "grown" and almost old enough to move away and here you go having more kids" "why do yall want to go through this again?" so I want to be with people of simular interests (getting pregnant) and not be judged about it...........3 babies I am so sorry for your loss.....kristin lots of luck and baby dust to you .....clindholm i hope everything is going OK for you.......I am also trying to decide how to go about this....charting temping OPK or just do it and see(haha) Hope to hear from you soon and hope everyone is doing good take care punkin

Hi krissy- Good to see you back. Sounds like the bding is going well. It's always great when the dh's are on board. Some people have a harder time b/c their dh's do not understand how badly we want it. Lots of luck and baby dust to you- hoping this is your month!!! Punkin- I would never judge!!! I am not perfect, and in my experience, I have never met anyone else perfect enough to pa__s judgement on others. It's your choice and they don't know how you and dh feel and what you want- they should shut up and mind their own business!!! I have seen some of your story on the other boards and I have to tell you when I first saw about your sweet angel Josh, I literally had to wipe tears from my eyes. I am so sorry for you and anyone that has had to go through that and I cannot imagine the pain. It is a parents worst nightmare. My lo is 16 months and all through the first year I was completely obsessed with the SIDS risk. I never slept, it was horrible. I just started giving her a blanket last week. Sorry to ramble on, I used opk's and did well with them. Temping seemed like too much work and honestly I would not be able to remember to do it everyday! I wish you much luck and baby dust on the ttc journey!!!

Hello LAdies. 3 babies at 41. I am so sorry for your loss. I just want you to know I too had a missed miscarriage where the heart stopped beating at 38 the baby was 14 weeks. I had a D&C and bled for 21 days. It was later determined that I had retained placenta. a 2 cm piece. The baby was also a little girl as I had genetic testing. There was no genetic reason for my loss. I conceived again on my second cycle post D&C and had a baby girl Nov 26th '06. She is now just turned 17 months. ANyway, You seem to be a trooper and I was so happy for you when you conceived again...but saddened by your loss. I myself am still not prengant. I am on my 3rd cycle ttc. I am on cd8. If it makes you feel any better and if you think you'd possibly give it one more try some women tend to be VERY fertile after a D&C. My heart goes out to you and I wish you all the best whatever you decide. punkin, welcome and good luck to you to. I remember your thread last year when you had your loss. So devestating. I think it is admirable that you are ttc again. Don't ever listen to negative feedback from ignorant people. It's your life..and your body and may GOd bless you with another child. May your little angel be watching you. I wish everyone all the best in their quests.

Hey Kristin girl! I was thinking about you today, when I said my hellos to all the other ladies. How are you? I've missed you on this forum. I know it's a little late, but I am also sorry about your m/c; however, I am glad that you were able to conceive after that happened. Although you are not pregnant yet, don't give up ttc #2. I'm looking forward to reading a post from you, stating that a little one is roasting inside you (I have a way of saying things, don't I?) Sure, it makes me feel better to know that some women are very fertile after d&c; maybe I should get busy right away, huh? (smile) How long after your d&c did you wait to ttc? I don't know ---- I'm still kinda leary. Oh well, we'll see. Thanks for coming back to us Kristin; we missed you! 3babies

Hello ladies....I am so glad you have welcomed me with open arms....after re-reading my post I hope no one took anything negative about my comment that I was only "36 (and younger than yall)" I just wanted to be with a group that was Tcc or pregnant ...age is just some numbers........anyway hope everyone is doing well....I think I will try the OPK way because my period is crazy I will be 28 days like clockwork for 3-4 months then 32 days or 26 never consistant....I think that would be best....just dont understand temping that well........so we will try this and see how it works out .......any suggestions ???
