Hello ladies....I am so glad you have welcomed me with open arms....after re-reading my post I hope no one took anything negative about my comment that I was only "36 (and younger than yall)" I just wanted to be with a group that was Tcc or pregnant ...age is just some numbers........anyway hope everyone is doing well....I think I will try the OPK way because my period is crazy I will be 28 days like clockwork for 3-4 months then 32 days or 26 never consistant....I think that would be best....just dont understand temping that well........so we will try this and see how it works out .......any suggestions ???

Hey Girls- Hope everyone is well and busy on the ttc journey. I just can't wait to hear of more bfp's! Punkin- we don't offend easily and are very secure with our "advanced" ages...lol. Well I only used opk's and checked cm (which was new to me) but I am lucky since I usually get a very distinctive cramp at o time so it's easier for me to tell. I know it can be a little harder with irregular cycles. The girls on the problems getting pregnant board are really great with the bbt so if you decide to go that route, they can certainly tell you what to look for. I also used fertility friend for a month and it was actually on target for my o...surprisingly. Gl to all on the 2ww!!! Colleen

3_babies_at_41 - Hi and I'm glad to hear from you. How are you feeling today. I just wanted to let you know that you are a very sweet and caring person to see how we are doing. Your post always make me smile. Well I get to take a break from bd for a few days dh left for work this morning when I was getting off from my night job he was waiting on his ride for his job. Not sure if I told you but we bd the following days 12, 13, 15-20. I think these were enough days. What do you think? I just hope we hit the right day. I ovulated on cd 18 and AF is due on May 12. I hope she don't show up. I am on count down to my birthday I have 31 days until I will be 40. Clindholm - Hi and how are you and the little one doing. I am on pins and needles I just can't explain how I am feeling I want this sooo bad, can't you tell LOL. As you can see I have bd'ed for all them days I am wore out. LOL I took clomid from cd 2-6, robintussin cd 7-20 and I am still taking the prenat vit and the baby asprins. I do have a question and I hope it don't gross you out but I just don't understand. I'm checking my cm (or at least that is what I think I am doing) it is real creamy and white and it is a lot. I tried to feel the cm position and it is real low and feel soft and mushy sorry again tmi. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so confused. Also I think DH wants another baby more then me. LOL. Krissy68

Krissy68, you say you bd the following days: the 12th, 13th, 15th thru 20th? Heck girl, I'd say that was MORE than enough days!! You don't mess around (or ---- maybe you do ---- smile), do you? And if you didn't hit the right day, I bet you had lots of fun trying! I wish I (or even my dh!!) had as much stamina as you. dh & I only bd (whatever that means; I don't know what half the initials that are used on this forum, stand for anyway) about twice a month. I feel like I'm about 90 or something. Even 90 yr olds probably 'do the wild thing' more than we do. Krissy68, I am your fan; you wild animal!! :-)

Krissy Heck you were making me tired just talking of all the bd-ing going on!!!! IF (I know it dont) but IF the number of times could mean how many babies ,,,you would be having like s_xtuplets or something..LOL......Good luck and I hope you hit the right day ....clindholm not sure if I would remember to temp every morning ....I am not a morning person so remembering to do it would be a bit much!!!! but I will check out fertility friend 3 babies...some the the abbrevations on here are confusing at times...some I can figure out.....BFP was a mystery for the longest then I asked (and was laughed at) but then I did feel stupid on that one!!!!! take care to all of you and have a good weekend Punkin

Ladies I need help. I have been taking my temp this month and also I did the opk and as of today I am on cd 25. Okay here is my problem. I started the opk on cd 14 and got a + didn't bd on that day but I did the next several days. Now everybody say when you get the + the egg release within 24to 36 hours okay I was looking at my chart in FF and on cd 16 my temp was 98.6 then on cd 17 it was 98.3 cd 18 98.2 didn't temp on cd 19 &20 cd 21 98.5 cd 22 98.6 (took hpt and it was -) cd 23 98.72 cd 24 98.57 (took hpt and it was -) and today my temp is 98.75. I guess my question is did I actually ovulated on cd 16 or did I ovulate on cd 18 like FF said and if so how many days past ovulation am I. I am feeling a little quesy. AF is due on May 12. Please help I am going crazy. Krissy68

Hi girls! 3babies good to see you on and hear all the words of encouragement. Krissy- I think you have a really good shot this month- my dh would love if we bd that much! I don't know anything about bbt at all, sorry. How long have you been ttc? Punkin- hows it going with you? I know this is your first month ttc- where are you in your cycle? Have you decided on any herbs? I'll check in with you all tomorrow, it's time for me to go home soon and my lo will not let me get even a minute on the pc when I get home. Colleen

hi all.....clindholm I am on cd5 (I think) I am trying to read so much about counting this and measuring that I think I am doing it right.......never done this before it just happened......I bought a "kit"online that has 25 ovulation predictors and 25 pregnancy test......so I am ready....It says you can test with these 4-5 days before AF should start and I am a very impatient person....so hope they work.....according to the calandar I have made up of when we need to bd according to AF dates I should be ready in between May 16 and 21......and can test as early as May 29.......but I am going to wait till the 30 (that was my Joshua's birthday and I will need good news then).....I have been taking prenatal vitamins for a month and a half now .....not familiar with herbs to help with tccing??????? but I will try anything to get pregnant....heck who knows it may happen without any problems but I am so afraid that since I had the surgery that we will....Dh asked why so many OP test and pregnancy test ? wasn't that stuff for people having problems getting pregnant??I told him yes usually and we could be part of that group now....we just dont know....yet!!! Hello, Mind if I join in? Im 43 with a wonderful 16 month old son and we are loosely ttc one more-because I soooo want a dd. Ds happened without trying (aside from no bc). We're on cycle 5 without success :( but my cycles seem to have become a little irregular. I started using a clearblue monitor - this is cycle #2 with it and hopefully that will help. We havent considered fertility treatment and at this point I dont think I would due to my age, but if we can get one more hit that would be wonderful. Part of me is scared as well because it would be heart breaking to have anything go wrong...then there is the tick tock tick tock...

I am with you when you say that part of you is scared, because if anything were to go wrong--- it would be heartbreaking. I feel the same way; however, I think we are going to go for it. Me & dh 6th year (been together 17 yrs) anniversary is on May 11th; we have plans at a jacuzzin suite for the next couple of days. I wish I could start ttc on the 12th & 13th, but my doc says it's best to wait one full cycle. Oh well, no egg & sperm swapping on those 2 days. I really wish all "my little angels" well. Hello everyone! *Punkin- try not to make yourself crazy testing, I know you need good news but the bfn's just made it worse for me. I got a bfn 3 days before af was due, then no af and bfp. So I was all sad and defeated for no reason. Just my opinion. You and dh may have no problem at all ttc, you have a very fertile record (on b/c no less!). There are quite a few girls on the other board that have had babies after tr surgery, it might just take a little longer than last time. You have plenty of time (you're only 36!). If you decide to try herbs there's a ttc international site- I think it's in the uk and it lists all the herbs, but you probably won't need it. *3babies- that sounds like a lovely romantic weekend you have coming up, I'm jealous (sigh). Our anniversary is May 18th. Married 4 years, together for 16 years. *Krissy- you sure sound promising for this month. I can't wait to hear- I think the 6 days til af will probably feel like the full 2ww! *Welcome Pootersmum- good luck trying for that dd! We all here know about that darn clock. Are you charting or temping or anything? My next doc appt is 5/16 but not for a scan. I'm just hanging in hoping everything is ok. The doc is really trying to make like it's no big deal so that I don't freak out. My last pregnancy was difficult with complications all along the way and I think she is just trying to keep me calm. Only time will tell. Please if you can, say an extra prayer for my little beany that it's healthy and stays that way. We just want one more if God will allow it. Colleen

LADIES I was going to email each and eveyone of you seperate but I just couldn't help myself. I took my temp this morning and it was 98.46 so of course I was bummed out and almost started to cray so like I said before I had brought 5 hpt from the 99 cent store. I got up after taking my temp. Guess Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt you guess it I got a + but I'm a little worried cause it was light but it was there no second guessing so I will test tomorrow I know today I am cd 26 and AF is due on May 12. I go see my regular dr next week and I am going to tell her that I got a + on my test and see if she will send me to have blood work done which is the best blood test I always forget. I guess I got my birthday wish 40 and pregnant. Krissy68

OMG! Krissy, you gotta be kidding! OMG! I sooooo hope that you are pg! I know what it means to be 40 & pregnant too; I was with my last little one. I also know how it is to stock up on the dollar store hpt's; heck, they're just as accurate as the $10 ones. I am so excited for you Krissy! I think I must have used about 4 hpt's; just making sure I was pg. I'm sure you know that it's best to test in the morning, when your pee level (or hcg :-) ) is best. Colleen, how ironic that your anniversary is a week after mine; you've been married about the same amount of time as i have, and you've been with dh, just as long as I've been with mine. Now that's eerie. So colleen, what kind of complications did you experience with your last pregnancy? Also, it's good your doc is trying to make like it's no big deal, and keep you calm; you don't need to add extra stress on yourself, or the baby. Np, I will be glad to say an extra prayer for you, & your "little beany". Take care, & I love you all! Krissy- OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CONGRATS!!!! A +++ is a +!!!! Now the question is.... how many you got in there girl? All that bd'ing you had going on, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than one!!! Yaaay, I'm so excited for you! I think this is the lucky fertile thread! Keep us posted! Colleen
