3babies- can I call you Bunny? It is very weird that our relationships/anniversaries are very close! I think we're all destined to have our baby dreams come true! Anyway, my last preg, I had cramping at the beginning which turned out ok, then at the screening ( I forgot what it's called ) for Downs Sydrome they told me my little angel may have Trisomy 18 (she was born perfect) then Placenta Previa, then very low amniotic fluid, and finally extremely high blood pressure (bottom number over 120!)- I was put on bed rest. They tried to induce me at 36 weeks due to the low fluid, actually when she was born there was NO fluid. Anyway, I waited for 2 1/2 days in the hospital for her to come when they finally decided to do a c-section b/c the little booger did not want to come out! She was born 12/7/06 4lbs 4 ozs. 16inches long and she has been the light of my life ever since! So that is part of the reason that I worry so much. Colleen

pootersmum - Welcome to the group. I just love your username. I will be 40 in June and I have 4 girls ages 19, 17, 13 and 3. I also have a granddaughter that is 1 1/2, my oldest daughter is getting ready to join the Army so I will be watching her daughter while she is gone. If you have questions just ask away. 3_babies_at_41 - What month is your brother birthday. Well this angel is doing great just a little nervous. I'm on cd 26 so I guess I'm 8dpo. Wow your anniverssary is on Mother's Day so that means DH has to get you extra gifts (smile). He does think this he just don't want you to know. Clindholm - Well I just couldn't hold out so I tested thismorning with my fmu and I got a faint bfp so I will test in a few more days. I think I'm 2dpo and I'm cd 26. I had a drop in my temp this morning so that is why I tested. I have a dr. appt next thursdays so I will tell her that I got a + and see if she will send me for blood work which one do I ask for. Krissy68

clindholm - May 6

Krissy- I'm so excited for you!!! She will send you for a quant_tive (not qualitive) hCG and then another in 48 hours to make sure it doubles. So did you tell dh? How did you give him the news? How did he react??? Colleen

Krissy68 - May 6

Hi ladies and thank you for all the congrats I just feel so bless I don't know what to think. I told my dh and he just starting crying I told him I was going to try and hold out but I think I am worse then the kids with keeping secrets. I will take another test like I said in a few days and ask my dr to do blood test then I will make a apt with the ob. Do anyone know what my numbers should be when I do the test? Krissy68

Krissy68 - May 6

well I am off to get a lab slip and I will make sure that I go back in 2 days to make sure it is doubling. I did call my ob and they said my family dr has to do me a referral because of my stupid insurance but that's okay. The only bad thing is it will take a day or 2 before I know anything. Krissy68

Hi Ladies I'm back went and got my blood work done but she only wrote for them to find out if I am pg or not. I'm okay with that. I really need for you all to help me calm down. I am really p__sed off. I went to one of them clinic that will give you a free hpt it was in the same bldg as the lab. I go in there and everybody is looking at me like I'm from outer space or something. I'm black and everybody in there were mexican okay no problem I sign in the all the girls started talking in spanish I'm like wth. I tell what I want and she said I needed to come back in 3 to 4 weeks I said why to really make sure I told her I wanted to talk to the dr that was in the office she said never mind here pee in the cup and it is going to take 30 minutes to get the results back I looked at her and rolled my eyes I wanted to get so ghetto up in there but I said okay I have time I will wait. It wasn't even 5 min she comes out and say it is NEG and you look old so maybe you are going through the change of life. I was like your mama. I know I shouldn't have said that but I was p__sed off I wanted to smack the c___p out of her. I went and got another 99 cent store brand and I am waiting so I can test again. Help I just want to cry. Krissy68

Krissy, I just want to cry with you, but keep your head up girl! If the test is negative, there's no reason not to keep on the ttc journey. I have been disappointed many times with the hpt's & negatives, and when I finally did get a positive --- in the end --- it came out to be negative (miscarriage). Sometimes, life just seems like one big, dark cloud --- doesn't it? It's ok Kris, we're all here for you. I feel your pain & frustration right now; I will say a special prayer for you also. I just want to hug all you girls; I think we all could use a group hug right now. Kristin, thankyou for your consolation. I'm doing ok; just trying to stay strong & positive. Not 100% over the loss --- but I'll be ok. Colleen, sure dear ---- you may most certainly & without a doubt call me Bunny. I'm glad your little girl was ok, with that last complicated pregnancy you had; and I'm sure this one will be just fine too. Stop worrying so much!! If you keep worrying, your baby may come out with a head full of grey hair --- and so will you! How's it goin' Punkin' & Pootersmum? I love all of you!! Take care, Bunny

(((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))) I am in on that group hug thing and several of us really needed that one...Krissy I am so sorry that you were treated that way.......I will be keeping my fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed for your BFP and praying for you also......I can't believe that she said that to you...how rude!!!!if she works in a clinic shouldn't she be professional?......people make me mad like that.......big hugs to all and hope everyone is OK ....dont have much time to chat today...will check in tomorrow.....Punkin

pootersmum - May 7

Thanks for the welcome Krissy :) and so sorry about the rudeness you encountered...some people are just insensitive and/or mean. But ha! I think I may be teetering on the edge of that "change"...gads, I hope not!! Add me to the list of people with fingers crossed for a definitive + DH has 2 grandsons 4 and newborn...our pooter is younger than his nephew by 3 yrs :) How are your older kids on the pregnancy thing? Take care!

Krissy- That is such bull that they treated you that way and you are better than that- don't allow people like that to bring you down. I think they are just jealous! I think b/c your af is not due until the 12th, that is why they said negative. It is faint on your tests b/c you have just started producing the hcg. Once af is late, it usually goes up and is darker. My sister in law used to work for Planned Parenthood and she said they use the same tests as we get in the stores. You may want to try First Response, they are supposed to pick up a positive 5 days before missed af and have a great record of not giving false positives. Keep your head up girl! Bunny- I needed that group hug too, thanks. I am so glad you are doing better and I bet that it will be a long time before you can get over a loss like that. Punkin & Pooter- Hows it going girls? Tons of baby dust to you- hoping for bfp's all around! Colleen

clindholm - May 8

Hi girls- hope everyone is well. Krissy- Do you have an update? Are you ok? Colleen

Krissy68 - May 8

Hi Ladies - Thank you all very much for the group hug. I'm still waiting on the blood result to come back just called dr office and they said not yet try tomorrow. I have since tuesday taken a hpt and now they are showing up neg. I'm really down and don't know what to make of the 2 positive I got that day. I guess I will just have to wait until AF show her face and go from there. If someone can help me with this: cd 26 temp was 98.46 - cm was creamy - hpt was a faint + (2) cd 27 temp was 98.65 - cm was creamy - hpt was neg cd 28 temp was 98.31 - cm was creamy hpt was neg. Now with today's temp dropping that do mean that AF is getting ready to show up right? I'm feeling a little crampy but not like AF cramps and I am not doing what I normally do when she is on her way like craving choclate and drinking a lot of soda's. Could I be getting ready to start going through the change of life??? I told DH that I am starting to have cramps and he didn't want to hear it he said he is going to keep hope alive that I am pg and that it is just too soon. I guess in 4 days I will know one way or another. I will keep you all updated. Krissy68

Krissy68 - May 8

One more thing all day yesterday I was really sick to my stomach like I was getting ready to throw up but it wouldn't come all the up. It's starting to happen again. Also the cm is really creamy and wet like slime does this me anything. Sorry tmi. Krissy68
