Hey there everyone. Val - hello! Nice to meet you at last. Many thanks for the congrats. I'm sending babydust your way and hope you get your bfp soon. -:¦:-•:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:-•. •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- lovemy3 - What a pity it's not possible to rea__sure oneself because you did such a great job with me and now you're worrying! Please try not to. Of course, it's understandable that you're concerned that you'll have the same problems as last time but you may not and you have to think like that to give your new baby the best chance. I too was worried about weight (I've got an underactive thyroid and weight is difficult to shift) so I go swimming 3-4times a week and it's so relaxing and also great for you. I can really recommend it for toning up and building up stamina for the impending birth! Try it and you'll see. Much luck over the next few days that AF doesn't come and that BFP does! -:¦:-•:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:-•. •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- isa - yes I'm sure you're right about the hormones. How delightful!! As for you - I really hope that you and dh soon find a way you're both happy with to make your dreams come true. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. -:¦:-•:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:-•. •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- SANN - WHERE ARE YOU? Hope all is well - give us some updates! and baby dust to all others -:¦:-•:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:-•. •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:--:¦:-•:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:-•. •:*¨¨*:•.-:¦:- To all: As you may remember, my dad arrives today and I'm sure that I'll be very busy over the next few weeks. I will do my VERY best to check in here whenever I can (I'll definitely try and read your posts at least!) but please forgive me if I disappear for a while. I'm not ignoring you! (LOL!!) and I'll be back soon, I promise. Big Hugs to all!!!

Hello everyone, Val, I am so glad you found us, and don’t worry about the delay, as long you show up after : ) : ). Your progesterone level is not low, the doctors like to see it higher, but this is not low. The average is 5, so less than 5 is what they call low. But still it does not hurt if you take your progesterone, are you taking pills or the using the cream? Oh by the way, I read your post about chasing the sheep, that was cute: ) : ). Reminded me of my childhood : ) : ). *****ISA, I hope you will not need the IVF, did you contact the ND? Thank you so much for your inputs in the other thread, about the symptoms and trying to live healthy, I always ate healthy food, I am not into prepackaged food, or canned or any processed food, I make my own, and try to stay away from any kind of food that It might have any hormones or any modifications. I am trying to eat organic as much as I can, although I do not believe that the organic food we buy from the stores is really organic : ) : ) I think its just another scam : ) : ) *****lovemy3, I am sorry you got bfn, but you know this is not an accurate result. I am like ISA, I do not even buy those hpt, because I never test, and I don’t want to know if what they call chemical pregnancy happens, that will devastate me if I get + and then a -, its better not to know : ) : ) : ) don’t you agree with me?? ***** Hopeful, I understand your fears and the source for them, but keep the faith and the UNBELIEVABLE positive att_tude you have, I am so impressed by the way : ) : ) : ), and listen to the ladies here, they sound very informed about this pregnancy related, and keep in touch with your care provider, but don’t listen to all what they say, sometimes they over estimate the issue. MY UPDATES,: ) : ) I am 8dpo, yesterday I started my connection with the fertility specialist, and I am waiting for appointment. Wish all of you the best. oh Hopeful, Maybe the brvr thing that you used stands for Braves : ) : ) TTYL

Good morning ladies. Hope all is well. Col- Thanks for the encouragement. What is a chemical pregnancy? How you test by temping? Is your temp suppose to be different when you are pregnant? Today is cycle 28 and still feeling crampy. This is going to be a fun few days. My dd is having her birthday party, 11, 11 yr olds sleeping over and then my family visiting Sunday to celebrate her b-day. Time has flown by! Wow. So thats really it for me. Hopeful- hope you are well too, and col is right, you are an inspiration of having the right att_tude~! Sann- Hope you are doing ok! Isa-- thnaks for the encouragement as well. When you chart, what is suppose to happen at 21-24 that tells you and saves the $ for the tests? I won't be around much this weekend but will be thinkin' about ya all. Take care!

Lovemy3,
By charting your temp, you will notice 2 phases, one before Ovulation and one after. Your temp will rise noticeably after because of the progesterone hormone increase after the ovulation. The way to know if you are pregnant or not using this method, its known that if your temp stay high or above the cover line more that 18 days, then the chance that you are pregnant is almost 95% unless your temp is a result to a sickness. Cover line is the line that divides the low temp from the high. To get an accurate chart, you have to take your temp first thing in the morning at the same time, before you leave the bed or even talk. As for the chemical pregnancy, the egg meets the sperm, and gets fertilized, and the implantation happens too, but after that it fails. And the AF arrive normally, that explains, why some women get + before there AF and thin get AF after, or BFN. Hope this helps. TTYL hopefully this is what you asked about, I am not sure if I went on explaining something you know already. If this is the case, blame the second language issue : ) : ) : )

Hi COL, Thanks for the info. I checked my temp but of course its mid day and I have been out and about and it 37.8, whatever that means. I'm going to check it in the a.m before I get out of bed tommorrow. Today is cycle day 28 but I am still cramping and headachy. i didn't bother getting anymore tests as they are expensive here too. Do you have an appointment yet with the specialist? For English being your second language you write well. What is your first language? Have a great weeknd!

Hi lovemy3, I am glad you found the info of a value. For you to be able to make sense of the temp issue, you need at least one cycle or 2 to determine your temps pattern, having one with out the other does not mean anything, you have to establish a baseline to compare to. But it does not hurt to start temping now. And make sure to log your temps, fertility friends is a good site for that. www.fertilityfreinds.com , let me know if you need anymore info. How long is your cycle? are those cramps new to you or you had them before? As for the specialist, no I did not hear from them yet. I will keep you posted. TTYL

hi ladies... The hypnotherapy appt was very good! I really liked the therapist (she was very calm and supportive) and I was able to keep the relaxation that I achieved for the rest of the day, evening while driving all around for like 2 hours! I think this might be a very good step for me. SANN, you haven't posted in a couple of days - how are you? :-) :-) :-)

Hi all : ) Sorry haven't been able to write much these past few days .... I've been on a roller coaster ride with my energy level. HOPEFUL - Hang in there till your next visit .. all will be fine : ) And don't worry about not having any symptons. Well I know what you mean by paranoid ... I haven't been able to sleep through a night since the brown spotting even there were only 2 occasion and the spotting was extremely minimal. ISA - I hope this will be your cycle : ) Temp's still up : ) And I so glad you listened to Randine Lewis. How are you doing ? COL ... Sounds like you're doing fine and your spirit's up too. What cycle day are you on?(I think both you and Lovemy3 are really close this cycle) Are you still busy with work? LOVEMY3 - Cd29 and no af ... sounds good. Re : Those Bfn ... I think you were testing too early, it happen to me too ( with last pregnancy) and tested again when af didn't show ... it was positive : ) I'm crossing my fingers for you : ) Keep us posted : ) How's preparations for your dd's b'day party going? VAL - I figure you were busy with the farm animals .... happy to hear from you : ) Looks like you found a new form of relaxation ... I'm excited for you with this approach : ) Any sign of ov yet? What happening lately ? Well ... I didn't get to see my ob/gynae on Thursday cos the date for the appt was messed up ... it was either me or the clinic nurse, go figure : ( Anyway ... it's confirmed I go in Monday ... the nurse said, it's "better timing" cos that would make 7wks and we'll be able to see something on u/s ... we're praying for a strong heart beat. My updates - Oh girls! The nausea, the burping and the energy level ... they've been kicking in alot stronger these past few days. I haven't actually thrown up but I felt the acid rush and my appet_te hasn't been very good as well ... can't eat my regular meals so I've been eating less to avoid the burping and gas. Saw my physician today, she said ... all these symptons are positive signs. However ... we think otherwise, we'll only been at ease when we see that little heart pumping. Big hugs to everyone : ) TTYL

Hi girls, OK, so I finally caught up on work, only now trying to catch up on reading this thread. Glad to see so many here. I am cracking up on Lovemy3's post on the 23rd about running to her neighbors w/ peestick in hand!! what a visual I'm getting!! How funny!! I sure hope you get that BFP! You deserve it. Hell, we all deserve it. All of the temping, CP, CM, hormones& AF just to get to that BFP & then the paranoia, nausea, spotting, fear, exhaustion, gas/burping.etc..etc...what a rollercoaster! Best to all....

Val wow hypnotherapy I've never heard of that for anything with fertility what a great idea esp if it relaxes you.I've been doing meditation relax tapes when i can to try and help. Loveymy3, Col explained the temp thing well. For example I am cd20 today and yesterday and today my temps fell a bit so I've really got the feeling it didnt work this month and my temps will probably slowly continue to fall. I have no reason to think I'm pg when my temps dip so therfore no reason to pay for hpt's. I've been temping 1 1/2 years so i can read my charts easily. It took me a few months to really be able to understand them and find my patterns. A temp individually means nothing and you can only tell AFTER you ovulate not when you are going to b/c the thermal shift occurs only after ovulation is completed. You will have 3 temps that have risen and thus the 2 types of temps. Also temping can show if you have problems with luteal phase defect (too long or too short from ovulation day to af) and if youre temps are too high or too low can show progesterone or estrogen problems as well as hyper or hypo thyroidism. It's pretty cool technique but if you use fertility friend take it with a grain of salt and not exact. It has often given the wrong ovulatio day to me (I know b/c I'd been monitored by u/s and b/w and it gave me the wrong day of ovulation) so just use it to record temps and other data and as a guilelines for ovulation/fertile timing. Sann sorry to hear your tummys all upset. Confirm with your doc but most allow you to take tums and even the bottle says you can take something like 7/day when pregnant. wow can you imagine already getting to see the hb on monday how fantastic. I heard when you see the hb the risk of m/c falls drastically yeah!

Dear All - This will have to be brief as we are taking my dad for a 5 day trip to Italy tonight and I'm not packed or anything. Anyway, my update .......... I had HORRIBLE

ooops - sorry!!!!!!!!!!!! Pressed Submit by mistake! Nothing like keeping you all in suspense is there? LOL!!!! So anyway,............ on Thursday I had HORRIBLE backache and constantly annoying cramps in my abdomen (not so much painful as "tight" and frequent) and I got a bit concerned about the whole issue of the ectopic possibility. So I said to myself that I'm not going to allow myself to worry the whole time I'm in Italy and that it was best to go to my doctor and ask her to do another ultrasound just to be sure. She did and found the sac in the right place but was extra diligent and sent me for a second opinion at the local maternity ward. They did another scan and said everything was in order for this early stage (only 4 weeks and 5 days) and prescribed me some Magnesium tablets(3xdaily) which are supposed to help the body relax in early pregnancy. (As far as I can tell after 5 tablets it seems to work!) The specialist at the hospital did warn me that my sac looked a little more oval than round and that I should be aware of any pain or bleeding and go straight to the doctor or hospital. (I think a misshapen sac can indicate the possibility of mc)She said if all was well by the time I get back from Italy then I can happily wait for my next appointment on the 11th. Of course, her concerns worried me a little at first but the way I look at it, I can't do anything about it so the best thing is to a__sume that all is well. So today I went swimming to keep up my "fitness regime" and on every stroke I said the following mantra - "A healthy body for my healthy baby" and that made me (and I'm sure my bean also) feel really good. I'm just going to enjoy my holiday and not worry. Col - nice idea about the "Braves" thing. I certainly think it's appropriate anyway!! lovemy3 - what's the news? Hope AF hasn't arrived. Sann - thanks so much for your rea__surance. I certainly don't think I'm suffering like you are with nausea but I know what you mean about tiredness - I find myself breathless after the smallest amount of effort!! Or maybe I'm just a lazy cow!! LOL!! I certainly agree with you when you say you won't be really satisfied that all is well until you see the heartbeat. When do you think you'll have that appointment? KD, isa, Val, Cyndi - what's the news? As I said before I'll keep trying to check in over the next few weeks but for definite I won't be in touch until Friday now as I'm off to experience some Dolce Vita!! Ciao mie amice!! A presto!

Hi all. Hopeful-- how nice to be able to visit Italy. Sounds like all is well with your pregnancy as well. I'm sure your appt on the 11th will be rea__suring as well. All is well here, almost the end of the day for cd30, so thats good. I looked back thru my calendar and twice in the past year I have had 32 day cycles so we'll see. I have refrained from testing. getting a lot of discharge and keep feeling like its af, but its not. I often will awake in the a.m and af is there, so thats it for me really. COL- how are things with you and your temps at this point in your cycle? I hope y'all are having a nice weekend, take care and hugs and baby dust to us all
