Hi there, COL- I a__sume I o that because I have used the regular store OPK's the last month and they said day 19 and thats when I get crampy and cm. maybe I'm wrong and the monitor will show that, maybe thats the problem. Thanks for the web site info, I will look at it. Val, how long are your cycles, even my o'ing that late i still get a 30 day cycle? What is Preseed and how does that work? I checked out the www.peeonastick.com web site- how cool is that! Very informative. last month that line i thought I saw was an evaporation line I think. For those of you who haven't looked at it, its worth while. thanks COL!

LM3 - when I ovulate on cd19, af has been arriving on cd32 or 33. Preseed is a lube that you can buy online that is supposed to be sperm-friendly. (Most lubes aren't.) We started ttc in March 05. We got pg in May but then had a mc at 9 weeks in Aug 05, and we've been ttc now for a year. Hard to believe. This has definitely been one of the hardest years of my life. I'm hoping that by this time next year, it will all be behind me...

Hi y'all. Wow, what a crazy day, back to school anbd all. Val... where do you buy pre-seed. How long have you been taking Clomid, and at what point do they rec. that you take that and how long can you take it for and what is the Prom. stuff I am new to all this and am wondering at what point do i need to seek extra help. I just turned 37 and this is my 4th cycle without results. I know it isn't long and I do have 3 kids but it is very different this time around which makes me wonder if there is something wrong. It is quiet! LM3, I got preseed online at www.early-pregnancy-tests.com (there is a dash between early/pregnancy and pregnancy/tests). Everything I read suggested seeing a specialist if you are over 35 and have been ttc unsuccessfully for 6 months. This is my 3rd and last cycle on Clomid. My RE put me on it to regulate my cycles because they were anywhere from 33-45 days. (those long ones really sucked.) Since I've been on the clomid I've ovulated on the same day every month... definitely a big improvement. I think he also put me on it to do the "clomid challenge test" where they check your FSH on cd3 and cd10. (mine came back fine which means that hopefully I still have a good amount of good eggs left.) He said that we'd only do clomid for 3 months since after a while it doesn't improve your chances. Also I think there are more risks of side effects the longer you are on it. If this cycle doesn't work, we'll do an HSG next cycle (where they check your tubes) and then move on to IUI. I'm 36. Oh, and dh had his sperm checked and that came back fine. The only tests where I've had slightly sub-par results were my thyroid test and progesterone. Just started the prog supplements today. It definitely can take longer as you get older... you may not have anything to worry about, but I know that waiting around is difficult. I think at my 4th month of ttc I started seeing a naturopath for acupuncture. Hope all that info helps!

Good morni ng ladies. Weird thi ng, or I think so anyhow, tested this a.m using the fertility monitor and am on cd12. I have used the opk's in the past and get a surge on day 18, 19, or 20. So this a.m, with no cm or symptoms at all, it show "high" lon cd 12. Anyhow, we bd'd anyhow. i wonder now if I will show a "high" till cd 18, 19, or 20. If i do, do we bd each day? I'm concerned that by the time the little egg symbol shows on the monitor we will have bd'd 8 days in a row and there will be no sperm left to do anything. Also when I look at the stick holding it at the cap part, the line on the right is faint and on the left is dark, does that sound right? Thats all my news. Val-- Are you using the monitor as well to tell when you are o'ing or the regular opk's? I hope this is your month! Hope your 2ww is going ok. How are you doing COL? Anything to report? I was reading your post about having all those "high" days and how 2 lines means peak. But on my stick they have reversed, the dark one is now light and the other one appeared. I'm so confused! Hopeful...how was Italy? WE miss you and hope all is well. Sann- whats going on with you? are you doing ok on bedrest? Hope so.

Good Morning Girls, Hope everyone's well. Val, Thx for the info on Preseed. I'm curious about it. I'll definitely try drinking more h2o. I'm sure I could use it. Lovemy3 I''ve been doing the every other day thing. I thought I remember hearing or reading that it takes like 48 hours for the sperm reservoir to become completely full, but I'm not sure, I'm gonna look online & see if I can find real info & not just to rely on my poor memory. As for me I'm doing OK. Having the least amt of symptoms in my 2ww which is good; less false hope. Not esp. tired, No Nausea, no bleeding (Thank god). I have "fibrocystic changes" in my b___sts since I turned 35 , which have blessed me w/ bad pain in my left b___st, but very strange thing is that the pain was coming right on cue, except for this morn, the pain seems almost gone. It's usually the worst 1st thing in the am. when I get out of bed. hmmm Curious, isn't it? Well even if I'm not pg I'd be happy to get a break from that discomfort! Talk to you soon....

Hi Kd, You never know, usually when you least expect it, it happens. How come you aren't hopeful for this month?, (I;'m kinda feeling the same way, last month I was all excited and then so let down) sounds like all went all. how do you find your cm, I'm finding over the last 6 months I don't get much like I used too. Hi lovemy3, Here's a quote from an IVF.com website about sperm...After each ejaculation, it takes about forty hours for your epididymis to refill with mature sperm (this is why too-frequent intercourse can impair fertility)... I hope that helps. As for me I'm just becoming pessamistic. I got my hopes up last 2 times, so I decided to not get excited until either my nips started hurting or I got that awful back pain like my 1st pg. I am still hopefully curious about that ovary pain I had & the magical gone-away b___st pain this am. That's really weird for me. It never goes away& just intensifies until a day or 2 after AF. Breast are still heavy, but no pain. No nipple pain either. hmmm. As for seeing my cm I usually take a look w/ a mirror while on the pot! not too pretty, but it works! But doing some kegels or pushing a bit helps it to come out. As for my cp I have yet to be sure that I have found it. I think today, in the shower i might have had success. It seemed low & soft & open. I heard when pg it goes high. I'll have to check more into it.

hey there, thanks for the sperm stuff, (crazy conversations! lol) So, that would mean it should be every other day right? Do you ever get mucus that strings out when you wipe? i used to up to 6 months ago, now very dry. I have no idea how a cervix would even feel, never checked mine before, never heard of that either until the interenet. Gosh, with my other 3 it was so easy, first try, this is getting quite stressful and mind boggling and VERy frustrating to boot, and I know in the big grand scheme of things this is barely no time trying at all compared to some many others. So, i'm stopping my pity party-lol! We just have to keep our chin up, and keep on keepin' on! how long ago did you have your other child and how was that? how old are you? (sorry I couldn't remember) I am 37 and 4 months and am in Canada. ttyl XOXO

Lovemy3, I'm right there w/ you. I never heard of these things before the internet. It is an amazing thing isn't it. I'm 35, DS is 41 & our DS is almost 3. And like you, we got pg immediately. I think for most of us on this over 35 forum we've waited for whatever reason to start or continue our families, so even though 3 mo ttc isn't long at all, it is when you've waited so long in the 1st place. As for the cm. I certainly remember lots more cm on my underpants, I remember saying to my DH that we have to get going on baby#2 cause my body was ready. But since about Feb, I started in w/ this horrible fibrocystic b___st pain & my cm definitely has lessened & my monthly cramps have gotten worse. Ahhh the joys! hahahah

Hi ladies... LM3, I do use opks, but not a monitor. The opks always match up with my temp shift, so I feel pretty good about using them. I just use the dollar store ones. I tried the Clear Blue Easy opks but thought they were too expensive and difficult to read. I don't know how the monitor works, but I do get an early surge around cd13 or so... it doesn't get as strong as the later one though. Maybe that's what the monitor is showing you? I'd probably cut back to every other day. My ob had recommended that. KD, are you 9dpo or so? I'm crossing my fingers for you. SANN, ISA, COL, how are you?

Good morning ladies. Nothing new going on here. Monitor still says high on day 13. wasn't planning on bd till tommorrow, thinking it will be best to every other day, but it happened anyhow. If I had of told dh he HAD to today, he may of complained, then I told him we should wait till tomorrow and that was a big deal- lol. you can't win! lol. He says "i have tons of strong Sperm to last" (like I offended him at suggesting due to his age etc we should wait-lol) So thats it here. tty;l XOXO

Lovemy3, I'm cracking up over your hubby's comment on "Having enough strong sperm"...How funny. Val how are the prog supplements? any weird side effects? I'm somewhere around 10 dpo today. Feeling extremely unpregnant. Boob pain is back, but more evenly tender, usually just pain by my armpit. white creamy cm, low soft open cp... just ready for AF on Wed. Boo Hoo. Hope all is well w/ everyone. Hope Sann & Hopeful are well.
