Lets hope it is the last AF you have for a while :-) We used to have sale days after each seasonal change, now they have them all the time to try and get the trade. It's definately more expensive here. I was over in the USA last year (Florida) and could not believe how ripped off we are by our own goverment compared to prices comparisons over there. It's ridiculous. My mother and half brothers and sisters live in differnet states in the US, they normally meet up on the 4th July and Christmas. Because of my current job and its responsibilities, I'm not able to get over there at those time. Still If I get my redundancy I will definately have to make the trip. Lets hope it is the AF pains you are getting so you can get started with your monitor. You may start yours before I do, at this rate. :-) Have a good day. It's 8:00 oclock in the evening here and I'm getting ready to chill out. Take care and speak soon.

Hi Pam, so you WILL be pressing the 'm' today, sent you a message on the other thread. lol. You were always in the running you know, from the day you decided to have the op. You just had better advice than I did, not to bd too early. That's the british medical profession for you. (not all of them I'd like to say, just a few I've dealt with in the past). They'll be no stopping you now. Bd as much as you can the first month as the monitor needs to get to know how your body works for the first month before it can detect a pattern. And let me know when it asks you to do your first test stick. Try and temp if you can this month as well, take your temp at the same time every day before you get out of bed in the morning. It is a way of seeing if the montior picks up any changes in your body, when your temp changes. Good luck and lots of baby dust

Hi Pam, I would not worry too much. As you are not taking any meds, it, can't be down to that. I expect your body needs to regulate itself after surgery. I'm sure AF will come and you will be able to get started soon. Hope you had a good day. Baby dust

Hi Pam, I hope you are having a good day. I have written this on the other thread but thought I would paste it here as an update. I had my appointment at the hospital with the dr. At around 4 this morning I was up throwing up (sorry if tmi) and curled up in pain in my right side and cervic area again, (this happened on the 18th but with out the sickness). I took pain killers and went back to bed as I knew I had my appointment later this morning. I told my dr that I was on CD41 and about the sickness and pains. He seemed really concerned and told me he needed to do a internal scan. What he found I am confused about so maybe you ladies can explain as I could not really get a straight answer from him. First thing he asks is 'when did you take your last pg test?? I told him I think it was last week. He carries on scanning and I'm watching his face and his expression changes to concern?? I can't see the monitor at this stage. He then shows me the monitor and points out a small sac in my uterus and I tell him about my blood test at the hospital and my HCG results. He then scans my right ovaries and shows me three (what looks like) large sacs? He says they may be cysts, but then he changed his mind and said they could be unreleased eggs?? Which one could they be, this far into my cycle and no AF? I am so confused! I guess I have so much more to learn. I asked him if the 'egg sacks' or lack of an AF are screwing up my body and causing the pain and he said it is more than likely the unreleased eggs? Would I have these still if I ovulated earlier in the month? He also said my pros level of 14 the other day does mean I have more than likely ovulated, BUT I was told by his secretary, from my original notes that he had put I needed to be at least 35 to ovulate...what is going on?! I need your help ladies on working out what is happening with me please? Try to ignore what the dr has told me, tell me what your instincts are saying about this?? I asked him lots of questions but did not feel things were any clearer? What is this sac in my uterus? Is it possbile I ovulated later than I thought? Regarding my next AF, he has told me wait for this to happen. I have told him I no longer want to take the clomid and need an atlernative like Femara, He said he had never heard this and looked it up in his book. He said it is not a normal source to use, but they would replace clomid with Tamoxifin?? I said I do not want any meds for the next couple of months, I need my body to sort itself out. Any advice would be appreciated. Baby Dust.

Boo I left you a message on the other thread about this and what I think could be going on things are going well for me at this point but I did forget to tell you on the other thread that i have missed periods in the past like 2-3 at a time I think I had cysts that were preventing me from having my af. I never was checked for them at the time thinking that I was getting to the age that I would be starting to go thtu menopause my dr. has confirmed that I am too young for that so I think it had to be cysts causing the missed af. good luck and make them recheck in a month.
