When Can You Find Out The Sex

I was told today that they think I am having a boy, but not sure, because it was fuzzy, heart beat was fast 155 and I am 14 weeks 2 days, they told me that at 18 weeks that they will know for sure does anyone know the timing , is 14 weeks to earlier I think soo.

I know of someone who was told the gender of her baby early on about 13 weeks. I personally was not told even though I had a detailed ultrasound done at 13 weeks. I hope to find out at my 20 weeks u/s. Just to let you know, they can't really know for sure from an ultrasound--unless it's very detailed and obvious. My friend was told twice based on ultrasounds that she was having a girl and she ended up having a boy!

there is a possibility they can tell as early as 13-14 weeks but my doctor said the s_x organs are developing until up to 16 weeks and then its still not 100% from an ultrasound. they can tell if you get an amnio though.

we found out a 14 w, 5 days or something like that....still a girl....had u/s today at 25 wks. :-)

Sometimes the baby makes it very clear, especially if it's a boy.
