I found out I was having a boy at 19w3d...I probably could have gone a little longer not knowing but we were at the level 2 and figured we should do it then and I definitely don't regret it!

My friend found out at 16 weeks, and i've heard of people finding out even before that. I'm sure you'll be able to tell as long as baby cooperates!!

We found out at 20 weeks 5 days that we are having a boy! I have heard that the 18 week u/s is the one where they can tell you what you are having. Good luck!!

I found out we were having a little boy at 17 wk 2 days. And I have read that some people found out as early as 13 weeks. (That was from posts on this site) So you can defintely tell what you are having at your appointment as long as the little one cooperates. I'm having a little boy and my other half is SO Happy. He's relieved he doesn't have to go out and buy a shotgun to ward off all the teenage boys. :)

I've found out as early as 15 1/2 weeks (that was my second baby) but I think it just depends on baby's cooperation. This time around (fourth baby) we found out at 16 weeks but baby really wanted us to know as it kept flashing the u/s tech!

I am going for my 14 week checkup next Friday... my fingers are crossed but I think I am too early to tell the s_x.

I was 16 weeks and 2 days when I found out that me and my fiancee were having a girl but he still thinks there is a possibility that the baby might still be a boy and this is our first child. I know it's a girl cause like GloriaD said the baby kept flashing the ultrasound tech plus she kept moving around. Our friend says he won't believe we're having a girl until I'm 6 months along and I keep telling them that ultrasound's are more advanced then they use to be.
