Ashley,
congrads on your 1st pregnancy. My name is Allie and im 33 years old. This is my 4th live pregnancy. To answer your questions, I was 14 weeks when the doctor heard my baby's heartbeat. The first movements feel like you got a b___terfly in your tummy, or you got a bad case of gas.For me it felt like I had spasms in my tummy.... It's a really great feeling and very exciting when you feel the baby's first movements...As for the kicks, they feel like gabbing and poking. As for the gestational diabetes, your never to old to have it. I have never had it before, but im always being checked for it because of my large babies I keep having. Please don't be scared, I know it's scary because it's your 1st pregnancy, but everything will be ok.Just be positive.
Take Care,
~ Allie ~
