Am I Having Braxton Hicks

I have ocassional cramping in my abdomen, it almost feels like period like cramps or as if ssomeone was trying to squeeze my uteros. Are these braxton hicks? what do braxton hicks feel like?

For the first few months of my pregnancy I had alot of menstrual cramps. then aroud 19 weeks I actually starting hving contractions they feel like a menstrual cramp a diahhera cramp and tightening in the abdomen, they can be very uncomfortable. Do you have all those pains too? If you do I would say they are probably braxton hicks be sure to telll your doctor cuz being dehydrated can cause alot of cramping too.Good Luck.

Thanks nelly. My sister in law thought you should only get them towards the end of your pregnancy, and I am only 5 months along, so I was little worried. But what you describe sounds like what I feel, and maybe I am not drinking enough water, my husband thinks I am not, so now he brings me water even if I don't ask. He is very sweet
