I am 20 weeks today and for about the past week I have been getting period-like cramps. The cramps are really low, excatly where you would get them when your period comes. Is this normal? Is it just the uterus stretching still?

im not exactly sure y they happen, but i have had them for a while. mr dr said that its ok as long as i dont have bleeding with them. im 22 weeks on sat. i find using a heating pad on warm helps.also taking a bath helps. its just another one of the fun perks of having a little person inside of u growing. i would trade it for anything:)

I had these more intensely around 17-18 weeks and the nurse said the baby goes through a big growth spurt around then. She also said to drink lots of water and that hellped! I thought I was already drinking enough (over 8-10/8oz gla__ses per day) but apparently we need more than the daily recommended in pregnancy. Try that out and see if it helps.

Thanks for the replies. I will try the water, although I'm getting sick of drinking all the time!
