That is really jacked up Hopeful that someone is trying to rearrange your schedule on her opinions. Here's a bit o' advice though- I have been through some very unappealing times at my job (been here almost 7 years). Anything from being basically verbally abused by a coworker (even though I finally abused back), dealing with unfairness because my boss's kids work here and get paid 3 times what I make and one has hired help that my boss pays for, but looking at the big picture, I keep my mouth shut and do my job because the hours are sweet (I work when I can, when I want for the most part) and the pay is d__n good for having 0 college education. I would at least try to hint at the fact that the long hours are taking a toll or depending on your boss, march in there and say I need less hours. Who cares about the friend. She can shove it. Cnas, that is totally weird about a earthquake in IL! Glad it wasn't like a really bad one. Anyways, I put my 24 week pic up on my myspace. I think I am the one getting bigger, not her!

You made a very good point ekay. The main reason my job is beneficial for us is because of the insurance. I had family coverage from my 1st day there, and the company pays for all of it. We only have a small copayment when we go to the doctor. And, it pays for 90% of pregnancy cost. Also, when I do go on maternity leave (my goal is 36 weeks), I get 13 weeks at full pay, then, as long as I'm under doc care, anything past 13 weeks is 66% of what I gross for a 40 hr week until I return. So, yeah, the benefits are awesome. The pay is okay (I took a pay cut b/c this job was closer to my house). I think I'm just getting burned out, and then I get to hear everyone else complain when they have to come back from a 2 or 3 day weekend. I keep reminding myself that I have at least a 2 month break coming up, and that helps sometimes. Oh well, I am fixing to go to bed. Third shift has screwed my sleep all up, but two more days and my 14 day stretch will be over!! yahh!! I hope you ladies have a great weekend, and I will catch back up Monday!! I'll try to post more often, but I make no promises!!
