Well...my kidney infection is back and so strong. Baby is moving and heart rate is good...but I am getting a ton of IV antibiotics. I also broke down and took percocet...I lasted about 13 hours and gave in. I feel so guilty. They are also giving me IV reglan every 6 hours...my mid-wife assured me that the baby is fine and that I need to get better...I just turned down the second dose of painkillers...but it is hard...it is so uncomfortable to be here to begin with and the added pain of my side is making it worse. I am going to push through as long as I can...but again...it is tough. I feel so defeated. I hope all of you ladies are doing well...baby kicked me hard for the first time today...I saw my stomach move...so that made me so happy...I hope I get a couple of more...it is a great reminder of why all of this is worth it...be well ladies...I hope you are happy and healthy...xoxo

Oh Heather, I hope you start to recover and feel better soon. I can't imagine what you are going through and you sound very strong for trying to hold off on the meds as long as you can. Just remember, you are in the best possible place and there is no way that any of the medical people will do or administer anything that could be harmful to your baby. Just try to get better as soon as you can. I am so glad to hear that babe gave you a good kick - maybe he/she was just trying to tell you "don't worry mommy, I am fine in here and growing strong" I will be thinking of you and keep us updated as to how you are feeling. Take care of yourself. (HUG)
