I'm 17 weeks pregnant, this is my first child and i'm in my 30's. this morning i went to the bathroom and noticed i discharged blood. Is this nornal? Or should i worry

I would call your doctor right away. It would depend on the severity of the bleeding. Spotting is probably not an indication of anything too serious, as heavy blood my indicate more of a problem. Either way, you need to call your doctor asap. Any bleeding is not "normal"

When I was 15 weeks pregnant I had bleeding, just slight. The doctor at the E.R. told me it was from my cervix rubbing against the placenta, which hadn't moved higher yet. He said it is only really a cause for concern if you feel cramping and can fill a pad with blood. You should have your doctor check to be sure.
