Having them frequently lately and my back starting to hurt pretty much all the time. Iwas wondering about my activity level. I work 8-12 hours days in a food plant and its a lot of physical work. I've been trying to take it easy, but i'm so worn out all the time. I'm feeling pulls and strains when i hav to lift and carry. Then all the ladies at work telling me to not lift over my head and not to drink coffee, don't lift the boxes off the floor, etc. Another girl at work was put on bed rest bc the work was making her "leak". I never had BHs this early on and wonder if it is bc my work is so hard. I don't wan't to go in labor earlier than I should. I wil see my dr on the first next month. I thought you could continue the same activities through preg. as you did before preg. I'm also stil a basket case, losing my mind all the time.

btw, im 21 weeks with my third, i made it ten weeks working due to severe sciatica last baby, and worked for 6 months the first baby. The economy is so bad right now i can't afford not to work and they won't give me light duty bc I would be a liability to the company. i work for a huge global co. and when it comes down to it I'm just a dollar sign to them.

You may want to call your doctor and see what amount of weight they recommend as a limit. My doctor told me nothing over 20 lbs but I have heard differing opinions. Also try to stay well hydrated, if you're not drinking enough water that can bring on bh. How many weeks are you? They are pretty common in the third trimester and some sources say that it is your uterus "practicing" but it sounds like you have a very physically demanding job along with very long hours. Is there anyway they can restrict your activity and/or reduce your hours per shift?
