I will be 16 weeks at my wedding in 2 weeks, is it safe to have a somewhat tight corset type dress on all night (about 6 hours)? Unfortunately, I had my dress fitted before I was pregnant. It's not really tight, but just very fitted. Thanks!

From what I understand, the general rule is that if it's not hurting you, then it's not hurting the baby. Just make sure the corset (with all those built in wires) don't dig into your stomach, especially when you sit down. Ouch!

I wouldn't suggest it.... i was 14 weeks, and had about the same type of dress, and i was miserable, ended up having to take it off and wear normal clothes b4 i even got to dance with anyone. I would try to have a last minute fitting.

I pulled it off! The dress actually fit somewhat comfortably, and nobody could even tell I was 16 weeks prego (we didn't tell anybody before the wedding). I guess from all the wedding stress I was going through, I was holding my stomach in all that time, because literally 2 days after my wedding last week, my belly actually started to show. Now we've told everybody and I can actually relax.
