Colleen, I totally hate the catheter. I honestly think it is the worst part of the whole c-section for me.....next would be clearing the anesthesia out of my lungs......I fight every cough or sneeze that comes after delivery. I will be moving over to the 3rd trimester board next Tuesday see you all there.

Hey girls- Tara, I had a few scares with the slow movement days with my little one and my doctor said the exact same thing. He seems alot more active in the last week which I think is just b/c he is bigger and it's easy to feel. My doc gave me the "Kick Count" sheet last week- has anyone else started theirs? Bryandi- It finally hit me why I was kept so long in the hospital. My blood pressure was very dangerously high (bottom number 120- yikes) so that makes sense now. I can't believe I forgot that and now have hope to be released sooner. I had my ultrasound yesterday and baby looks good, still has that little spot on his liver so will have another scan at 36 weeks. The tech said to me "This is not small baby" I guess that makes me a little happier about the section- he's just under 3 lbs which of course seems small to me! Colleen

hey girls - just another day to stay on this board - I am getting really anxious. The time seems like it is flying now. Colleen, if you are still checking - I am feeling much more movement today and yesterday probably because I am not at work and taking it easy for the weekend. That's what I thought!!! ANyway, Ashley, they told me mine was pretty big also. My son was a little under 10 lbs, but I was 2 weeks late, so I am expecting at least another 8 pounder. He was just under 2 lbs, 6 weeks ago, and the us tech said, wow do you carry big babies normally? I just laughed!!!! I love chubby babies too!!! Anyway, hope you are all doing well.

Tara, Ashley, I just had a sonogram today, and they said the baby
was measuring about 2lbs 6 oz and in the 63rd percentile.....so I am having
a bigger baby too. My daughter was 7lbs 6oz at 3 weeks early and my son was 8lbs 11oz
at one week early so I am guessing this one will be another 8 pounder maybe even 9.... Ashley,
my kids are very close as well. My son and daughter are 19mths apart and my son and this baby will
be 22 mths apart. I hope your ready to be busy!!! There is never a dull moment with two that young! Lately
where I have been more tired and energyless I have been wondering what the heck I am doing having a third one so
close to my second.....I try to keep in perspective that I am just a tired cranky pg woman and will be much better once
Ember is here in my arms.

Tara- I'm glad your babe is moving more now. I think it seems less while at work b/c we're not able to concentrate on them. I know it's true for me. It sounds like we're all having big babies! I went for a can on Friday and the tech siad in her heavy accent "This is not small baby" lol. He's just under 3 lbs already. Ashley- I'm having my lo's close too, my dd will be 2 when this one comes and I'm ALOT older than you! I guess we'll all be going crazy. Bryandi- Ember is your dd's name? I LOVE it! I had a sad morning today, we had to put one of our dogs down. He was very sick and old, he had lymphoma, poor guy was in alot of pain :( Colleen
