Decreased Movment Question

Hi Ladies,
Quick question - is it normal sometimes for bub not to move around as much - can he / she just have a lazy day? Just noticed the last 2 days not as much movement happening? I am 22 weeks tomorow. He / she has been moving but not as much - should i worry?

I wouldn't worry, mine does that alot, even tho i worry too! lol. but she goes crazy for a day or two then has a day or two of laziness. but shes been moving like crazy the last few days, so i expect her to slow down today or tomorrow. she does that. but i wouldn't worry as long as you feel something throughout the day your fine. they are like us is what my doc says. they just lay around somedays.

the baby's movements are going to be rather inconsistent..(so I've read in some books) until you reach your third trimester, and then it'll slow down. Your movement will probably peak in the next few weeks, and then in your 3rd tri, it'll slow because the baby will be bigger and not have as much space to move around in. I'm expecting my first and I remember around 17-20 weeks I was able to pretty much time when he would start kicking, but somedays I'd feel barely anything and that freaked me out...but apparently thats normal because they don't have set sleeping patterns yet. ;-) You know what eased my worry? A java frappucino or a 20 oz of soda....that got him kicking within the hour. ;-) I'm so evil...but it rea__sured me. Now at 28 weeks, his movements are more consistent.

Thanks ladies! This forum has seriously been a god send for me! It just makes it so much better to hear how other pregnant ladies around the same mark as you are going! And it seems bub was just being lazy as you both said cause i have had about 10 movements already this morning! haha. Well another question which I dont know if you can help me with - Left hand side, right under b___b - kinda feels like where my ribs are - hurts to breath in deep - get like a stabbing pain - used to be only when I slept but now throughout the day - is this because the baby is squishing things up? Its quite painful..... any help appreciated. Wow is anyone else freaked out about how fast the months have gone? I am imagining they cant go fast enough towards the last month - that must be soooo uncomfortable! :) x

i'd say that pain is baby squishing things, but always ask your doctor to be sure. my whole left side bugs me, lol from my hip to my arms. i have 2 kids at home and this pregnancy seems to be flying by! already 23 wks 3 days!
