I had dizzy spells during the first trimester, but they were brief. Today I woke up so dizzy that I fell when I got out of bed. I didn't call my doc because this is my busy day at work, but I stayed dizzy all day. Every time I moved suddenly I had to grab hold of something to keep from falling, and once I did fall. I'm calling the doc in the morning, but has anyone else had this same problem?

I was dizzy during the first trimester then around 12-13 weeks I seemed dizzy everday for a few days but it is gone now. I think that it has to do with the extra blood that your body starts to make.

I was dizzy and lightheaded for a little while in first trimester. I;m 16 weeks now and a few days ago I suddenly got very dizzy and it made me nauseous too, it lasted all day until I woke up next morning. I've been making conscious effort to eat well and drink lots and have been feeling well ever since. What did your doctor say?
