Hi, I am 21 weeks pregnant today, and I have a problem with my nipples being really dry and peeling. I wouldn't be concerned, but I plan to br___tfeed and was wondering if any of you are having the same problem and what you have found to treat it that really works.

lansinoh nipple cream is awesome! the dryness is pretty normal and shouldn't effect nursing at all, but if it's uncomfortable the lansinoh is the way to go. nipples do all kinds of crazy things while your pregnant, don't sweat it.

Pam, I had the same thing during my first trimester. I just made sure I put lotion on them every morning and night, but they still stayed like that. Now, I am 17 wks and they aren't peeling anymore. My doctor said it could just be from hormones, your b___sts preparing for the baby or because our bodies are quite a lot warmer when we are pregnant and nipples are sensitive to heat and cold. Don't worry, your not the only one!
