Due In August Am I Calculatin My Month Right

I'm due mid-August and just started my 18th week of pregnancy. I'm not sure if I'm calculating my months right however. Like when people ask what month, I respond with I'm 18 weeks, 4 months pregnant. Yet I see some sites that claim I'm in my 5th month of pregnancy if I'm 18 weeks pregnant. I'm counting by my due date to make sense of it to others. Are others calculating the same way?

I would say you are on track. I am 19w and I too tell people that I am just about five months. At 18 weeks you are in the second week of the fifth month, so at the end of 20w you are 5 months. Hope that makes sense!!
