Failed 1st Glucose Screening Test

I am 26 weeks and feel pretty upset..I failed my first glucose test, and need to do the 3 hour one in 2 days--Friday. I thought I was doing well, now feel awful about it. the doc says not to worry...any comments?

Just wanted to let you know that when I was pg with my son. I failed mine too and had to do the 3 hr. test and pa__sed it. Don't get too worried. It may turn out just fine. Just start watching what you eat before going in. I am hoping I don't fail mine this time around. I am 18 weeks. So, I will be taking mine in another month or so. Good Luck!!

I am 21 weeks 5 days and my glucose test is scheduled for my 26 week check. With my first child I was blissfully ignorant and had no worries at all. This time around I have too much information for my own good. Good luck to you, I hope you pa__s.

hi - i am also 26 wks and failed my glucose test yesterday ~~ so i guess i will have to go for the 3 hr one next week. i didn't eat anything at all yesterday morning - and i have a sinus infection & i am wondering if any of those things factored in the test? i am of thin / normal weight (normally) but gained 8 lbs in 3 weeks last week. just wondering what this means for baby?? --- any info appreciated!

Same here, already did my 3 hour. You get poked 4 times in those 3 hours and the drink amount is almost doubled. Couldn't eat anything after midnight and had the test start at 8:30 a.m. the next morning. Almost puked, but got through it, lol.

I feel like such an idiot! I got the dates mixed up, and missed my 3hr appointment, and now have to wait til after the holidays to re-book. I'm near tears right now. :-(

alot of woman fail the first & pa__s the second because of borderline results. just calm down & dont worry this untill necessary. calm down hunni
