Has Anyone Used Sheer Coverage Make Up

I have seen infomercials for sheer coverage makeup and am thinking about trying it to cover up some blemishes (isn't pregnancy wonderful...). Has anyone tried it and does it actually work? I am always skeptical about products I see on tv.

I haven't even heard of it I don't think Bubbasmom. I use the Maybeline Mineral Powder liquid foundation that comes in a little squeezy bottle and I find that it works really well to cover the rotten blemish's. It is really light and I find it doesn't cause any new ones!

I have used it. It is great! I LOVE LOVE LOVE TRUE make up, better than sheer mineral and bare minerals. TRUE is by far the best I have used but it is $40 for 1 container of make up. You can google it. It is seriously the best thing I have ever used. Supposedly it is the make up the stars use.

ejmeskan, does it cover up red marks and does it cover up old scars? I wanted to get some personal feedback before ordering.

hi bubbas mom....i worked for the company that markets sheer cover and i have tried it all as it was pretty much at my disposal. for me i could never get a color that worked well on my skin ( im your average caucasion gal) and the makeup always made me look ashy. i use bare minerals now and love it, i am 38 and a girly who has pretty much tried everything and i like this stuff best. you cannot tell you are wearing it, it only takes a little and you can actually sleep in the stuff. it has suncreen too which i believe is mandatory :) good luck! oh, by the way, i send the sheer cover to my BF in hawaii because she absolutely loves the stuff......

Hi Leslie, thanks for the advice. I might look into bare minerals as well. But, I am also trying to find something that might cover up old scars (adolescence was not kind to me!). Would either sheer coverage or bare minerals do the trick? Also, can you get the bare minerals at a department store or does it have to be ordered?

Well, I had the same problem with both of them...it just felt a little cakie after a while...but Leslie I have heard a lot of people say they swear by BareMinerals. I didnt' unfortunately have the same luck. The TRUE covered up all of my blemishes and one scar on my upper lip...but I have heard people love both. You can get bare minerals at Ulta or Sephoria...not sure about Sheer.

Hi bubbasmom, Well I use bare minerals and LOVE it (same sort of concept as sheer coverage just different brand). It is expensive but I got the start up case with base, contour and shine cover powders and the brush - and it has lastest me ages - going on six months and still about half left - it feels really great on your skin and looks pretty natural! :)
