I have lost 8lbs since being pregnant and I haven't gained ANYTHING. I hate food, but I still eat. I did although go from unhealthy to healthy foods and started walking alot. My daughter is 6 months old, so can I just be losing that weight. My doctor said if I lose anymore he is giving me a prescription for morning sickness. I told him after I throw up I get hungry and eat, so I'm replacing what I lost. I gained 40lbs with my daughter and didn't lose anything but 7lbs after having her...I think I am losing her baby weight, but it still scares me...at this time with my daughter I gained a good amount I think

I would say your fine. It seems like you were still holding on to some of that weight from your DD. I am 20 weeks and I am still down 3 lbs from when I got prego. My dd is 18 months and I was about 7 lbs overweight when I got prego this time. So I think it is our bodies way of evening things out :) My Dr said I am fine, perfect actually. As long as I maintain the weight and dont lose more then all is good. This will keep you from gaining a ton overall :) As long as the LO is doing good and gaining, then no need to worry! How many weeks are you?

I'm 13w 3d...I lose every week, my doctor looks at it as though it was a bad thing

hmmm... You are so early still. I mean you havent hit that stage where the baby is in rapid growth. That is hard to say. I personally would be SOOOO happy to be where you are. :) Hope all is well.

don't worry too much, i lost 7 pound and didn't gain anything until about week 17. you'll gain some soon enough. as long as you're eating well im sure you're fine.

Yeah, I lost 15lbs with my daughter, but gained that plus 40lbs on top of that...but I gained it back within a month, I was around 12w when I gained it back.

You're probably just fine. I lost 12 lbs in my first two months and didn't pa__s my prepregnancy weight until 18 weeks and I only pa__sed it by a pound. I'm now almost 25 weeks and I've only gained 6 lbs altogether. It'll come packing on later, I'm sure.

d__n i wish i didn't gain that much weight yet...so far i'm only 12w3d and i've gained a whopping 11 lbs prolly more by now! How can i get RID of some of that weight??

you just have to eat healthy...but if you're still putting on weight even eating healthy foods, its good because that means your body is storing good fat that you need for the baby and b___stfeeding and such. Incorporating 20 minutes of walking everyday helps tpo. This is just all the advice I've heard and read. I'm trying it all. lol...first child..scared of gaining a ton and not being able to lose it!

Yeah, everyone keeps telling me its your second baby, you should already be gaining more weight then I did with my daughter. That you gain more the more kids you have. llukenjess-I changed my eating habits like crazy, and the fact that I hate food and only liked fruit for a long time could have a lot to do with it, but that was over a few weeks ago and I still don't gain.

I have also not been gaining weight like I did when I was pregnant with my ds (now 13 months). I am 28wks and have gained 8lbs total. I never had morning sickness. I am not sure if its related to it being a subsequent pregnancy? (for some women at least). BTW I also still had weight to lose to get to my pre-pregnancy weight but then I got pregnant again with no. 2. I had about 10lbs to lose. So, maybe that extra weight has something to do with it. My doc hasn't mentioned anything about my weight gain yet, and I am sure I will start gaining more quickly during the 3rd trimester. I would say don't worry about it until your doc worries about it. Even if you have to take something for your morning sickness...

Yeah, well my doctor is worried about it, he doesn't like that I haven't gained and that I have only lost. I won't lie I wanted to lose weight in the beginning but now I just want the baby to be ok
