Hi Ladies, As some of you may or may not remember (baby brains and all haha) I had some concerns about my doctor as she wasnt listening to the heart or doing urine tests etc on my monthly visits...... anyway long story short she is a great doc but not a midwife or ob gyn - soooo I had my first hospital appointed checkup today and they listened to the heart - 20 weeks and 1 day and the first time i have heard it - IT WAS SO COOL!! And FAST!! Couldnt stop smiling - and another good thing is they run regular check ups there so I am going to see them from now on and they do all the recommended tests etc and let you listen to the heart each visit - another bonus is its free and also one of the 5 midwifes there will be on duty at the hospital labour ward when its time to give birth - so all in all I am a very happy camper today - haha just wanted to share my story! :) Hope you are all well and loving the second tri! x

thanks bellybubble. we have set a date for 3rd july next year and my mum has offered to be the wedding planner since we will be far too consumed with baby this and baby that!! i suppose its natural to start wondering how big you will get, i get people telling me im not that big at the moment but i definately feel this weight on the front of me. its wierd when you try bending down though and putting socks on/shaving legs etc. the little things you tend to notice more. im sure my partner says i get bigger by the week, i don't know if you notice it as much though because you see your tummy everyday. who knows! its all fun though! im waiting for the influx of stretch marks to begin, my mum had loads!

Cat to help with stretch mark you can use Palmers Stretch mark oil and/or lotion...i use both. i use the oil after i get out of the shower, and the lotion when i wake up and right before i go to bed! they prevent, and reduce stretch marks!
