I'm 22 1/2 wks along and have felt the baby everyday since 19wks. My question is, my baby seems to be very active. I can feel him/her many, many times throughout the day with lots of kicks, summersaults and movements from one side of my abdomen to the other. It doesn't matter if I am lying in bed, typing at my desk or on a brisk walk. How often do babies of this gestation usually sleep or, are all babies significantly different. Perhaps if I could hear your own experiences?

For both of my previous Preg. my girls moved constantly this time tho.. i hardly feel the baby .. it makes me worry at times... Im the same 22.5 weeks along .. i wouldnt worry abt the much movement... every baby is different.. Good luck :)

This is my first baby, and i am at 19 wks, i feel it move all the time day or night.

Okay, my baby is the same exact way!!! Even at my 8 week ultrasound I was told that my baby was super active. I didn't think it was possible, but I was shown the little guy swimming around like a little kidney bean. Right now, I am 21 weeks and nothing has changed. I can only speak of my own experiences.

Yup, our baby was really active in the 16 wk ultrasound too. So active that the techinician was getting frustrated because she couldn't take proper measurements before he moved and screwed it all up!

I am 20 weeks with my first and the last 2 or 3 days I have felt my baby move constantly. It was just every so often, sometimes I didn't feel it during the day but maybe once or twice. Is this normal? That just all of a sudden it starts moving a ton???

just like babies outside the womb, they are said to have up days and down days. I have noticed the same with my second pregnancy.

this is my first pregnancy i am 22.5 weeks and my little girl has been moving non stop no matter what time it is since the end of october. Now very rarely she she does have her off days.

Is there something wrong with my baby? All you people say your baby moves constantly but my baby doesn't move at all some days. Other days he/she moves just a little. I am 20weeks.. I'm very worried about this shouldn't my baby be moving more?

Louise...I'm sure you have nothing to worry about...I am 21 weeks into my 3rd, and for quite a while she moved around all the time...it seems lately she snoozes more often...all pregnancy's are different...if you ever get really worried try drinking a cold gla__s of oj really quick this usually gets a baby a kickin..lol

Oh, yeah, my baby has been very active the last few days. I went for a prenatal check up Tues., the 7th, and they couldn't find the heartbeat at first. Everytime they would find it, my baby would literally move to the other side of my stomach. They were getting frustrated b/c they were trying to listen and count the heartbeats and baby kept messing them up. It took them 3 tries before the baby stayed still long enough to let them do it right. I am supposed to go for another ultrasound in a couple of weeks to find out what we are having. The doctor told me flat out my baby may be moving so much that they will have trouble getting it to cooperate long enough to find out what it is. I hope that isn't true. I really want to know what it is, but hey, if it is like its father, then it makes sense. As much as I love him, he can be difficult too. LOL!
