I am 24 weeks pregnant and have only recently started to feel my baby move. Sometimes I can feel quite strong kicks. From feeling him quite frequently everyday I have gone the last couple of days without feeling anything. Is this normal?

Maise I was going to ask the same thing... but I am only 17 weeks... but when you are 28 weeks, they say that you are suppose to feel the baby move 10 times in 2 hours... they say that you should monitor it... I hope that we are still in the clear, because we are not quite there yet.

Me also. I am 20 weeks, and I have had the same thing. From everyone's responses before, they have all said that this is normal- the baby has up days and down days...just as long as you feel any kind of movement each 24 hours is ok.....

I'll be 21 weeks tomorrow and have had some slight movements for a couple of weeks. But it's been quiet for the last couple of days and have only felt a poke once or twice. I read on another site that the baby sleeps alot..about 20hours a day and is more likely to be active in the evening. So I'm hoping if I can't feel any movement then the baby is sleeping.

Maisie, most likely the baby is facing in a way where you can't feel him. Re member, he's only a little over 1lb, so there is still a lot of room in there to change positions.
To be on the safe side though I would report this to your doctor
