This is my second pregnancy and just this week I broke out in a severe case of hives they said might be due to the pregnancy. I never had anything like this before. I am on a short course of steroids and two anti-histimines. Finally today I feel better after 3 days on medicine. Anyone else experience anything like this?

I have itchy red bumps on my belly and thighs. I saw my doc and he said it was a yeast infection. Went back after the medicine didn't work and he said it was probably excema. That medicine did work, but the rash kept coming back. So today I have a doctor appointment with a dermatologist. I do not think mine are hives, excema or a yeast infection. I looked up PUPPP, which is common for first pregnancy, but only affects 3rd trimester women. I don't think I have that either. I will let you know what the derm says...

I don't know what I had but i had horrible blotchy bumps on my leg and I thought maybe i had a bug bite or something until I looked at it, but it went away after 2 days, so I hope it was nothing big!

I went to the doctor. He said I have two types of rashes on my belly. Both are pregnancy related. Under my b___sts I have a yeast infection (from overheating and sweating) and the other is just dermat_tis, which he didn't say was PUPPP but was similar. Just a rash. He gave me some cream and it cleared up almost overnight!
