Wow, our thread is so quiet! We must all be so busy! I know I am! I have an almost 4 year old and a 17 month old and a full time job outside the home. We are also going to Mexico next week, building a new house and trying to plan for this new addition!!! So I know BUSY! Other than that, pregnancy has been uneventful, I feel baby every so often, Im 23 weeks now...have gained more than I wanted to at this point..about 15lbs! I only wanted to gain 25lbs, so that doesnt leave me much more for 17 weeks! Anyways...not much more to report. Had our ultra sound and everything looked great. Not finding out the s_x as we like the end result! Are you guys feeling the babies lots?

A trip to Mexico! Wish I could go! My husband and I were married in Baja, but we haven't been able to get back there for a real vacation since then. Someday, maybe. . . :-) I got a follow-up ultrasound yesterday, and all looks well with my little boy. (Yes, definitely a boy!) My morning sickness is mostly gone now, and it's good to know that I've pa__sed the halfway point. I'm finally feeling the baby move every day. I was pretty sure I was feeling him for several weeks, but it just wasn't as strong or as frequent as I remembered from my first three pregnancies. It turns out I have an anterior placenta. That's also why the midwife had trouble finding the heartbeat on my first few visits. Regarding the anterior placenta, have any of you heard that having an anterior placenta can lead to a posterior birth? I read that in several places online, but my midwife says it's not true. I hope not!

Well, I am probably the youngest in here, I am 17 years old. Married to a U.S. Marine. I am due July 29th =) which makes me 20w tomorrow. We find out the gender next tuesday so that is very exciting. I was wondering though, I have been having very strange vivid dreams almost every night, has anyone else experienced this? I never remembered many of my dreams before even though those too were very strange. Last night I had a dream about getting chased around a house (not an ordinary house either and I wasn't the only one being chased), it was like a wierd maze or a childs play place inside. Then next thing I know I am outside a house with like 2 males and 2 huge turtles (wierd I know) and one turtle came out of his shell and tried to run and the other turtle ate him and then started chasing me. I woke up sweating really bad. On a brighter note, I never really got morning sickness but being in a car or eating large amounts of food in my first trimester usually ended up bad. Now I just get head aches a lot and I always want to eat but I never know what I want or even what sounds good. If I could eat hashbrowns for every meal I probably would. Another thing, has anyone come up to any of you and asked if you were pregnant or when your due? I haven't, I know I look pregnant cuz I dont think its possible to look all skinny like me and then have a big tummy. I was reading through the thread and someone said something about gaining 15lbs. Well if it makes you feel any better, before my pregnancy I was about 106lbs and at my last appt I was about 120lbs and I know I'm even more now. I have what I believe to be stretch marks, not on my stomach, but on my upper thighs. (My husband wont admit that they are small stretch marks cuz he doesn't think I've gained enough weight to get them) Well have a great day ladies! Hope everything is going great for you and your little ones =)

Hi, Jess. It's good to see a new post. It seems like the second trimester is a quiet time for most of us. I've had some weird dreams, too. That's normal. My friend who is still in the first trimester dreams of serial killers chopping her up in bits. I wonder what it is about pregnancy that makes people dream such strange things. About stretch marks, I hardly got any on my tummy with my first. But I got a lot on my b___sts, and some on my hips and thighs. When my husband first pointed out the ones on my b___sts, I wouldn't believe it. I thought stretch marks were supposed to be on the belly! Here's a question for you all, though perhaps I should start a new topic for this: What do you plan to wear for labor/delivery? I feel silly for thinking about this so much, but it's never even come into the picture before. I delivered my first three at the hospital, and they never said I could wear anything other than their hospital gowns. Now I'm having my care at a birth center, so I'm overwhelmed with the freedom and hardly know what to do! Same thing with food. They let you bring snacks, juice, and your own meal to eat after the birth. I was just going to wear a big shirt or an old nightgown, because I want to be reasonably covered for pictures. But then I've started thinking about laboring in the tub, and that leaves me lost. I could strip all the way down, or just wear a bra, but I'm pretty particular about people (besides the required attendants) seeing me in the pictures like that. And I'm pretty certain that I want some pictures of me and the baby right away. I don't want to be scrambling to cover up if I happen to decide to deliver right in the tub. And what to bring for snacks? My experience thus far has been that nothing looks very appetizing when I'm in labor, so a lot of foods probably won't appeal to me. Speaking of appet_te issues, my morning sickness has reappeared! :-o Not as bad as it has been in the past, but I've been feeling it every day for several days now, and sometimes it's pretty bad. I thought I was done with this for a while! I've known it to return near the end, but never this early before.

Hello. I am just wanting to let everyone know I am still here. I am 22 weeks tomorrow and really excited about the things that are happening. I had an 18 week ultrasound and that went all well and it was fantastic to see the bub sucking its thumb and waving its arms around. We also have a picture of its feet. We didn't find out the s_x as I find it will be more exciting to find out everything on the day of the birth. I have been feeling kicks and movements since 17 weeks, its been very exciting and Nick (my husband) has been able to feel it too. Its a nice moment between him, I and the baby. The one thing I am finding frustrating is the fact that people feel that my body is now public property and they are ent_tled to touch my stomach. How do people avoid this from happening? What do you say/do to prevent it??

Helo ladies. Am 29 weeks 1 day. My lil princess never gets tired, she's so active. My dh says he can smell the milk from a week ago but am not licking yet. Am due on the 4th of July, anyone due the same day with me? Hope your all doing good. Keep well & please update us once in a while. Its encouraging to here from you.

Tasha - April 19

Hello Manchuda...Im due July 4th as well, but as this is my 3rd, and my first 2 were both 9 days overdue, Im not betting this one will be early or on its due date! I dont understand your comment about the milk? Sounded very odd to me, did I miss something? Im going to start a 3rd trimester forum as we should all be getting there shortly. Ive been there for 2 weeks so far an nothing really exciting is happening! (:

Manchuda - April 19

My husband says he can smell the milk from my b___sts but the milk is not coming out yet.

Tasha - April 19

LOL!! Oh I get it...you meant LEAKING...not licking...Mine has defiantly come in, cause my b___sts have gotten bigger, but not leaking either, mine usually don't though. I started the 3rd tri forum! You should move over now since your in the 3rd tri too!
