Monster Truck Jam

My boyfriend wants to go see the Monster Truck Jam that is in town this weekend and I had mentioned this to a friend of mine at work. She said that her doctor had advised her not to go a few years back because of the fumes and vibrations. I didnt even think about this! I have tried calling my dr several times but he is never in or is very busy when I call and the nurses dont know the answer, so what's your opinion?? Should I go ahead and go or just wait till next year???

WOW!!! I was going to post the same question because I too ahve heard that about the fumes!! I am not sure, but am really curious to the answer! Where do you live - I am in sask canada and the monster truck jam is here this weekend too! How weird!! :)

If it were me I would probably go and if the fumes got too bad I would leave for awhile. You will know if you start feeling uncomfortable, so maybe go and just play it by ear. Hope this helps?!

I agree with Heather - you can always go out and get some air your dh will be so excited if you go with him and he'll understand if you need to step out for fresh air. I can't imagine the vibrations are any stronger than the ones you guys make together in your bedroom...LOL sorry I couldn't resist!

LOL!!! Cors1wife!!! You just made me burt out in laughter in the middle of my very very quiet office!! I am sure everyone thinks that I ahve completly lost it now!! LOL!!! Thanks gals for the advice, I am thinking it shouldn't be a problem either. No worse than going to a concert.

Hey guys. Lol thanks for all the advice! Actually, i finally did get ahold of my doctor and he confirmed what you guys said. He said that it wouldnt be a problem to go and that the fumes would overcome me before they would affect or harm the baby.... as for the vibrations HAHA Very true..... Thanks again. BTW I live in PA so unfortunately softbreeze and I wont be enjoying the same show :) Hope you have a good time!!!!!
