I am 14 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if anyone would know why it hurts when I have intercourse with my loved one.. It has never felt like this before but now it feels like he is hitting my cervix or something. I know it cant be my baby cuz that is further up but I was just wondering how I can make s_x better?? and more pain free!

I also had pain up until about 15-16 weeks. Same feeling, almost like he was hitting my cervix. Thankfully it is much better now and s_x has felt amazing. I am 19 weeks. Just keep mentioning to the Dr. to be cautious.

oh, and one other thing I noticed helped is to make sure your bowels are pretty empty before s_x. Sometimes if they are full, it pushes everything else down too.

We have stopped for now because each time we tried it was too painful :( I hated the feeling of my cervix being pounded. I do wonder why? But then maybe it is us having full bowels what with constipation and eating so much... not that all of us do that, but me, I do.

It is totally normal and nothing to worry about. Everything up there can get a bit irritated and at times swollen from the pressure. I am 37 weeks with our second child and have had the same problem with both pregnancies. Just wait until you start getting your internals, they can be really painful.
