Hi all, Is it normal to get sharp stabbing pains every now and then in my lower abdomen at 15 weeks? Could this still be the uterus expanding? Also crampy?? I know my doc said crampy was normal at the start, but should i be getting it now? Not all the time but every onw an then? I have no bleeding, spotting or anything like that. Anyone else experiencing this? xx

I would guess it's completely normal - if I remember correctly - I had the same thing around 15 weeks. I noticed it the most when standing up quickly, but also felt general achiness and some stabbing pains every once in awhile. If you ever have any doubt always call the Dr. just to be on the safe side.=0)

I had hat too---I was limping for a bit! just your ligaments.

totally normal. Sometimes after a long day your stomach/uterus will be sore too. Just be sure to lay down and rest and not to over extend yourself. But yes, the stretching pains are normal because your uterus is still growing with that baby. ;-)

Belly - I am thinking it is totally normal. I have had crampy feelings all the way through this pregnancy and those pokey, sharp pains on and off. I am thinking it is just the streching, I was talking to a girlfriend that is due in march and she said she had it all the way through her pregnancy. I think it is normal!!

Hi bellybubble, discuss with your doctor what you are now experiencing, but I felt and still feel the same thing all the time if I get up or turn too quickly, or especially when I sneeze. It freaks me out because I've had a couple miscarriages and a very difficult pregnancy that ended with my son being born 9 weeks early. I pay close attention to every twinge, but round ligament pain is very common and normal in the second trimester.

Hi all!!! Thank you so much for rea__suring me - they havent happened at all today so i dont feel so freaked out - especially since your answers - i will still bring it up with my doc - but as i am feeling fine otherwise i wont make an extra appointment - I have an u/s in just over 3 weeks so i will talk to doc then! Thank you again for your rea__surance!! Hey is it too early at 15 ish weeks to feel movements? I have been feeling some flutters as such in my tummy but never sure if they are bub or just belly gurglings haha!! YUMYMUMY - I am from Oz too - where abouts are you??? I am in QLD! Hope you all have a great great day! :)

not at all belly bubble with my 1st son i was a little thinner and i felt flutters at 14/15 weeks and it didnt take long at all for them to turn into small kicks! you can feel movement but then again some women dont feel it, some women say they dont feel anything till after 20 weeks!. i am now 14weeks with this baby and when im on my back laying still i have felt slight rolls and it isnt gas, my gas is actual more intense lol. plus i know the feeling and i cant wait for it to get stronger! are you finding out the gender? i did with my 1st son, and i can not wait to find out this time round im getting a ultrasound this day next week im so so impatient! :+) btw im in SA
