I had to go to L&D the other night (26 weeks) as I was having way too many BH ctx, approx. 8 per hour. They did the fetal fibronectin test and checked me, but no signs of premature labor, however, she did say that after being on the monitor I had a really irritible uterus, and also, that the baby is REALLY low, the head is already completely in the pelvis, which is very unusual. I've had a few people tell me that that could put me at risk for early dilation because of the pressure from the head. Has anyone else had things like this happen? Did you end up going full term? Early? As long as I rest, the BH ctx are ok, but when I'm up and around they definitely seem to pick up in frequency.
