We are starting to go ahead and buy diapers when we have coupons, so we are stocked when the time comes. I just don't want to get too many of the same size. We are getting the bulk sizes with around 150 to 200 per box, depending on size. So how long do the babies usually stay in the newborn size, then size 1's, and 2's...... Any info would be appreciated. Thanks ladies!

My first never fit into the newborns, and was only in size 1 for about a month and a half. By the time he was 2 he was in size 7, which we had a really hard time finding. We had a lot of leftover diaper sizes because he moved really quick, but we were able to use them when the second came along.
My second was in newborn for about 3 months, then slowly started moving up. Now he is almost 2 and is only in size 4.
They are all so different it is really difficult to estimate.

Can you keep your receipts and return them? I had a little girl and she wore newborn size for 1-2 weeks, then we moved to size 1 for about a month, then used the size 1-2 for several months...don't recall how old she was when we moved to 3 or 4 - she is still a 4 if she wore a diaper - but we used 2t/3t pullups...she is almost 3 now.
She has been pretty much average to below average in size.
