Question For Debbie About Amnios

Hi Debbie. You said in one of your posts "... had amnio last week and got my results my baby fine. just worried now of misscarring im 19 weeks" Did your doctor tell you how long after the amnio you run the risk of miscarrying? If it is to happen, does it happen the next day, a week later, two weeks??? How long do you have to sit tight and stress about it, until you know you're in the clear and can breath easy?

i was told anything up to 3 weeks after the amnio and im worried sick

wow... that long???? omigod. that must be agony for you. you poor bugga. i am debating whether to have an amnio on 11 may @18wks 4 days, depending on how my ultrasound that morning goes. i know i will be sick with fear for the three weeks afterwards if i have it done. hang in there debbie. i'm sure it will all be fine for you and your bub. thinking of you. take care of yourself :o)

thankyou SRA for your kind words will let u know how i get on i still have a bit of cramping but taking one day at a time got a scan next tuesday so hopefully everything will be ok
