Hello. I am 14 weeks pregnant and I have felt flutters and nudges on my left side more frequently lately. (and please don't tell me I can't feel my baby move this early, I know my body and this is not my first child...that is for the women who always want to "burst bubbles" :) ) But to everyone else, doesn't the baby normally move around more? Is it normal for the baby to favor one side??? It's only been a couple of days since the little flutters and nudges started, and I definatly know it's my baby, but Im just wondering is he/she stuck somewhere or has just favored my left side for some reason? Thanks in advance ladies!! :)

Hey since you are 14 weeks the baby is small so maybe he/she is just staying on the one side sounds normal to me...at 14 weeks I know the dr could only find the heartbeat on my left side so I suppose that is where my lil one was sitting too hope this makes sense to you and I am so glad you are feeling movement this early you are lucky I’m 20+ weeks and just really felling them frequent now

With my first I didn't feel movement until I was 22 weeks. With this pregnancy I felt movement at 15 weeks. I think with subsequent pregnancies you are just more aware and notice it sooner. I am currently 22 weeks 3 days and can't wait for my 3D ultrasound at 28 weeks to see who has been kicking me day and night. lol.

hello with my 1st son i felt flutters sooner than with this baby, i think its becauise i was atleast 10kilos lighter overall in weight so maybe i felt it sooner, now iv got more fat lol. i felt this baby give a good poke at around 15 weeks this baby seems to move and roll more than kick, whereas my 1st always kicked and i didnt feel it shift from side to side until later on. and yes bbays do like certian positions this 2nd baby likes to lay real low and hug into my placenta, i seen it every time on ultrasound.

CarrieGa- I felt kicks for the first time at 17 weeks with my first pregnancy (that my doctor said I didn't even feel- but there was SOOOO denying it- as you said you know your body!) and that little babe did not move my right side for months and months! I bet I didn't feel it kick else was until like 25-30 weeks!! I remember being nervous just like you!! Oh i can't wait to have that feeling inside of me again!

Thanks ladies! I knew I wasn't just imagining. I would drink a 7up and I would feel the little kicks. Today I felt them on boths sides. Yesterday it was only one. Ive also lost 5 lbs and I have no morning sickness. But I guess weight goes up and down during pregnany sometimes.

My little one favored my left side for a couple months. Congrats on such early movement! I felt it at 18 weeks (this is my first) but I have an anterior placenta so it was cushioning the movements. I thought the movement couldn't possibly be as low and to the left as it was but it got more regular and sure enough it was. Enjoy it!!

I am thrilled. Too bad my DH can't feel yet. :( But then again it's like my own little personal secret between me and baby lol. I could be in the middle of a conversation and I'd just stop just to feel the flutters. I had been feeling them very lightly snce week 11, but right on the 14th week..they got stronger but I still can't feel them while touching my belly, Just from the inside. I am excited as well!!! ^__^
