Today i just started getting sharp pains just below my belly button and i dont know what to do...I am 19 weeks pregnant...20 weeks ina few days. I want some advice before i take it to the walk in clinic and or worry my mom by telling her

It may just be gas which can be pretty painful, I on the other hand, would go to the doctor asap if it were me.

well I went and they said nothing was wrong....heart beat was at 140 and my urine was negitive for a uti...so I dont know. I'm still having the pains

It may just be your ligaments stretching as your uterus is expanding. At least you got checked out and they said the baby is ok. Im glad to here that. I have been getting small cramps or st_tches in my lower side stomach area (similar to cramps you get while running) any time I walk more than a short distance. I never got these with my first pregnancy, I wonder what they are.

I get these pains all the time, my doctor told me it was just stretching and round ligament pain, or gas pains. Jessb- He said the walking cramps are the same thing, just stretching from all the movement.

I get this at least once a week for five or ten minutes and need to walk around - a small cramp like a period pain... I am going for a scan tomorrow (16 weeks) i will ask doctor and let you all know.
