This is my 3rd pregnancy 2nd child. Im 17.5 weeks now and I have felt the baby move. I was feeling her pretty often it seemed but it has now been over a week with no movements. I had an ultrasound a week ago and all was fine. Should I be worried or is it possible this is normal?

Kristin I would love to tell you NOT to worry but I can't because worrying is just one of those things that comes along with this whole game of pregnancy...I can however completely relate- this is my 2nd child as well (but only 2nd pregnancy) and with my 1st I felt the first kick at 17 weeks and it didn't stop once from then on, then with this one I felt it at like 15 -16 weeks and then it just went away or if I did feel anything they were super super faint. I tried hard not to worry but how can't you? I am now 21 weeks and still have such slight movement, nothing like my son's hard kicks with the 1st one!! So I try not to worry because I think it is just that this little bean is SOOOOO low but I think it is pretty normal at 17 weeks to have this happen to you because the babe is still pretty small! Good luck!

So you haven't felt any movements in a week? Like none at all? That would worry me too if you'd already been feeling it frequently. Could you go the doc and at least hear the heartbeat?

DONT BE TO WORRIED THIS IS MY 6TH PREGNANCY AND 4TH CHILD. I THOUGHT THE WORST WITH MY LAST PREGNANCY IT CAN BE QUITE NORMAL THE DOCTOR TOLD ME BUT HE DID TELL ME IF I DONT FEEL NOTHING WITHIN A DAY OR 2 THAT I SHOULD DRINK JUST A QUARTER CUP OF RED CORDIAL THATS IF YOU CAN STOMACH IT AND I DID A DAY LATER WITH IN AN HOUR OR TWO I GOT THE BIGGEST KICK I NEVER THOUGHT ID GET THE SUGAR IN THE CORDIAL IS WHAT DID IT BUT ITS UP TO YOU IM 13 WKS NOW AND IM ONLY FEELING BUTTERFLYS INSIDE MY BELLY WHICH IS FANTASTIC CHEERS AND GOOD LUCK
