Anyone having siatic nerve pain ? It hurts all the way down my left leg. Sometimes my leg gives out from the pain. Anyone having this and what have you done ?

Hi Michelle. Oh yes, I have this bad! I am 22 weeks and have had since week 14. I have always had a bad lower back but never sciatica until pregnancy. Mine is also down my left leg and was so bad in the beginning I couldnt sit, stand, or walk without crying. With physical therapy, pre-natal yoga, ice, rest, and time it has gotten alot better but still very painful at times. I have pretty much excepted its something I have to deal with until the baby comes out and then I plan on having cortisone shots or taking some steriods. Both have helped me tremendously in the past but when your pregnant your very limited. Have you experienced this before pregnancy? How far along?

My Sciatic Nerve is in my b___t like the middle and goes down my leg alittle. It sucks. I have my bf rub me when it hurts bad. I have stairs at home and its hard going up stairs. I always feel it in my right cheek but i just take it. I actually was going to ask my doctor on tuesday what he feels i can do to help it. I will let you know what he says:)
